I found this series on a whim and decided to give it a try! It's an interesting story for those into the samurai/demon categories of manga/anime! I will also say this manga took a turn I was not expecting which was interesting because I read into the plot points of volume one VERY easily, only to be turned around in this volume!

I hate how quickly I breeze through Mangas 🥲 I am enjoying the development of this storyline, and there were definitely some moments that tug at my heart.

UGH!!!!! MY HEART!!!!! I am devastated by this volume....did not see suzune 1) having feelings for jinta and 2) going beserk-mode against everyone (ಥ﹏ಥ) there are so many layers here!! jinta gets a demon arm, kiyomasa I thought was being a total jerk forcing himself onto shirayuki but I think was just trying to push her away/back to jinta, suzune betrays them all and kills shirayuki, then suzune and jinta fight...all setting up for an epic battle 100 years down the road. it's all very tragic and I'm so invested in what comes next.

This volume was insane! Things took a turn really fast and I wanted to know how it would end. The illustrations were great and the story had a good flow.

This series reads quickly, which I like because the story moves forward at a faster pace, but it's paced quite well where it's not wrapped up too fast or dragging on. The majority of this volume revolved around one plot, but it was still done very well and lenghty enough, but still ended on a high.

I recommend this series!

Kind of a let down from the interest I had at the end of the first volume

Fridging the love interest was pretty predictable. The sister deciding to go on a multi-generational rampage just because a boy didn’t like her or thank her for murdering their mutual childhood friend was so……. ugh

Un second tome qui fait bien monter la pression et se conclut en apothéose 🥲. Je continuerai cette saga avec grand plaisir afin de découvrir qui l'emportera...

Par contre, j'en ai marre des sentiments incestueux dans les manga sérieux 🫠
