Overall I thought this book was okay. At some point in the story I became annoyed and frustrated with Burns. I would think that after going through two investigations that he wouldn't be so careless and reckless when he is working on a case. I also felt that the writer was trying to hard to make his character sarcastic and funny that at times took away from the story development. The ending of the story did surprise me and there were some unexpected twists and turns in the story.
