Hmm, about me... Well, not too much to tell. I was a reader before I ever became a writer. I live in a small town in North Carolina with my extremely spoiled German shepard. My son is grown, out on his own, and starting a family of his own. Still don't feel like a grandma. I write erotica, paranormal, futuristic, comtemporary, and m/m. I'm slowly but surely building up my library with new stories and interesting characters. Who knows what I'll come up with next. But to get what's already out, you can purchase them here - www.allromanceebooks.comwww.amazon.com & B&N. I'm on FB and Twitter. Stop by and drop me a line. I love hearing from fans and readers.

The way Marcus is at work, very quiet, polite, reserved and a little standoffish with pain clear in his eyes is just a challenge for Noah. Noah is at this office temporarily, as a fix to the mess made by former managers. To his credit, Noah makes an effort to be friends with the man, not just jump his bones, though he wants that. There is a 14 year age difference, which is another hindrance for Marcus, along with his heart broken past.
When the two share a kiss, Marcus really goes off the deep end, running away and hiding. The two have to communicate to figure out what’s going on, but can they?
It’s a quick short story, with interesting characters and is mostly character driven, as most of the story is their conversations. Recommended for short-story lovers.
Both characters in this book were very likable. I found myself reading along wanting to know more about them and what happened to each of them in the past. Definitely kept me reading. I really wanted to see their HEA come to fruition. Unfortunately, the end seemed to come far too quickly. In particular, while I loved the character of Noah, and he was a very together younger man, I felt his issues were glossed over rather quickly...and they are majoy issues that could have added a lot of depth and emotion to this read. Perhaps the journey for these characters isn't finished. In the end, a nice quick, sweet and hot read well written.
My second book today by this same author and it was really good. The characters were so likeable and even better together as a couple. The angst and suspense were perfect and I found myself wanting to skip ahead to find out what happened. As much as it broke my heart to hear about what Dorian did to Noah, I'm glad that he endured so much because it made the story that much better. And Marcus was a great character and I'm really glad that Noah and him got their happy ending, I just wish the happy ending had been longer instead of ending so quickly.
I liked both characters and felt badly for both. Noah and Marcus were perfect for each other and I'm glad they had each other to fully heal. Some parts felt a bit...rushed? For dealing with what was going on. Still, a fun read!
Short book & straight to the point. I found it hard to read at first b/c the angst was so gut wrenching & I cried a lot. But I was glad it got happy & everything was solved. It was a good enjoyable read with plenty tears!
Wow, 24 reviews written and not one mention of the grammatical errors?! I'm astonished, could I really be the only person whose copy has these issues? Highly unlikely since mine was purchased on Amazon as I'm sure lots of others did as well.
I don't think a guy who was so horably abused as Noah was would go after another guy the way Noah did go after Marcus. So to me this story felt very unrealistic.
Short, enjoyable read. Despite being relatively short there was good back story and character development for me. Sweet, second chance romance with a bit of suspense thrown in!
After being kidnapped by an abusive former lover, Noah Richards has found it challenging to trust another person. But he is committed to putting that behind him, determined to still live his life to the fullest extent possible. Marcus Stewart was left behind by the man he thought was the love of his life, leaving him heartbroken and uncertain if he ever wants to give someone that part of him again. But when Noah and Marcus meet, the connection is difficult to deny. And so they both need to find a way to look forward if they want to act on that spark and see where it leads. But the past, for both of them, may not be as far behind them as they believe it to be...
“I grew up in the Mid-West where being gay is as bad as being a Democrat.”
I can relate to that! And overall, this is an interesting read. The way the author tells the two histories of these gentlemen makes for an engaging story that builds to some unwelcome surprises as the plot trucks along. I will say that there are some descriptions of violence that may be uncomfortable for people who have a hard time reading that, but it is nothing too graphic and is only in a small part of the story. Worth a read.
