Such an interesting story about a little-known general under Lee's command. General Jenkins was brilliant on the battlefield but soft-spoken but yet caught the attention of the high command in the CSA. Caught up in General James Longstreet's command controversy he never compromised his abilities on the battlefield or his respect in the 2 Corps. He met a very tragic death while riding with General Longstreet as they were both mistaken for the enemy and shot by their own men. Such a tragic loss to the CSA. A great book!
