It feels like an "old school" hypnosis book. Some of the stuff feels outdated. But if you are willing to ignore that you get some very nice insights. Took me a while to read, because the used language feels also "old school" to me, but was worth it.
When I will do a stage hypnosis show, I am pretty sure I will read through this once more to get more insights for it.

A definitive book, that should be on the shelf of anyone interested in hypnosis or mentalism.
Like gravity the art of presenting a good performance, or inducing hypnosis has not changed in the past few years. In fact the art of performance if anything has been lost.
As a wise man once said, a house is only as good as the foundations it is built on. There is no firmer foundations than Ormond McGill.
This is a must have book & is as relevant today as it was the day it was published, even if it is not about so called street & rapid induction hypnosis.

A fantastic compendium of hypnosis techniques. While oriented toward stage hypnosis, many of the techniques can be adapted to other purposes. Many of the descriptions are also quite entertaining. A must have work for anyone who wants to practice stage hypnotism and a good read for hypnotists in general.

A HUGE book, with a LOT of info and technic. Somewhat messy but I can forgive that due to the content. Its a real "must read book" for all hypnotists.
