This book is a sloppy treatment of macroeconomics. It’s more of a review of the key touchstones in the field, but so spotty even trying to do that. The coverage on some topics was good and gave me some nice new insights. But, the coverage on others was terrible and would frustrate the hell out of a reader approaching the subject for the first time. Overall, a really lazy effort by the author. If you are looking for a good teaching text, look elsewhere as I will be.

dummies book to understand....also about basic macrosupply/demand..monetary policies and fiscal policies..BUT until we found out why the Fed has the power to print money? and people wonder why USD is the global trading standard (fiat money/petro dollar)? think about that...hint: Fiat money, End the Fed..
