The movement morphed into the most extensive Protestant School System in the world, with thousands of schools with over a hundred Colleges and Universities worldwide. They mobilized the growth of the SDA Church, which at the time the first school appeared, the Church held a little over 50,000 members. By the twenty-first century, the membership had grown to over twenty million. In the book, you will find details on how the idea of manual training for the children of the poor appeared and how it spread across the globe.
