During 2010, she was on hiatus because she was republishing her old manga, in which she was retaining the original plot and updating the artwork.
Alongside with publishing in Kadokawa Shoten, her work is also published in Emerald which is a collaborative shoujo/BL manga magazine with Nakamura Shungiku (author of the renowned Junjou Romantica and more recently, Hybrid Child) originated from the manga Sekaiichi Hatsukoi.
Haruko made me incredibly sad for Haru and how he grew up. She's so cold towards him. :( Ren was adorable as always, and Haru was sweet and kindhearted, even though he seemed a little clueless sometimes.
Ch. 10-12. Haru's mother returns to Japan and threatens to take Ren away with her, because his potential is being wasted. Ren's origins are revealed, just as I as was thinking it had been forgotten. Ren's feelings for Haru are not so childlike but he doesn't know how to express them. I'm always taken aback when they get physical and wish I hadn't seen it. I like Ren and his serious, straightforward manner as he tries to figure out his feeling and understand the people around him.
Awwww it was so nice to see more of Haruko and getting to know her made me feel so sad. D: There were a lot of character developments with the mentioning of Ren's biological mother. It just seemed to beef up the characters and their relationships.
There was more cute Ren and Haru stuff too >3< but not as much as the last volume.
Definitely love this one, although I'm horrified by the "mom". She really is one lady who lacks much to be desired. But the story itself, and especially all the back story reveals were great! Can't wait for the next volume!
I really don't like how Haruko treats Haru. Maybe she is not the worst after everything she has done but seriously why would she treat him like that when he actually loves her.
