The story continues with Eli Shaw’s guided exploration into all things sexual, provided by Bernie Higgins.
Eli is doing his best to please Bernie. The sex is amazing, and he’s glimpsed pleasures he never imagined. But after being locked in chastity and following the rules, he’s frustrated when Bernie suddenly seems to lose interest in romance.
Eli seeks the advice of Clem, the wise-yet-cantankerous domme, who helps him accentuate his androgyny. But will it pique Bernie’s interest or his ire?
Young and exposed to a new life, can Eli cope? He must carefully traverse the minefield of Bernie’s definition of public displays of affection, the advances of other men, coming out to his parents, and a punishing first “delivery” at work.
Might the corruption be too much for the boy?
Learn whether Eli juggles his newfound kink or drops the ball.

Severe Content B.J. Frazier Publications books contain *plots* and *well-developed characters*
B.J. Frazier is an award-winning author of erotica from the U.S. Her professional résumé includes high school English teacher, advertising executive, business owner, certified Master Sexpert, Relationship Coach, Love Coach, and Sexologist. B.J. draws upon her diverse background to create believable and relatable characters and stories.
B.J. also writes from personal experience in Femdom, which adds realism to her stories.
A self-proclaimed feedback whore, B.J. loves to receive feedback from her readers. The comments she never tires of hearing are, "you're so readable" and "your characters are relatable." The stand-out comment is from a very vanilla reader, who said, "I don't mean to be insulting, but I think 'Mistress Managed' can be mainstream!"
When she's not writing or reading, B.J. loves playing games of all kinds (except mind games--though she's good at those, too); board, card, dice, and especially word games. She also loves jigsaw puzzles, but is very particular: The pieces must be thick and interlocking.
Her happy place is Vegas, but she is also happiest spending time with her puppies, daughters, friends… and anything involving chocolate.
Eli: The Corruption is the second book in the Eli Series. The story continues from where the first book left off. Since this is the second book, I will try as much as possible not to reveal details that would spoil the first book because it is a continuation. Books in this series need to be read in order. They don’t act as standalone stories.
In this installment, Eli Shaw undergoes a complete transformation, whether it is a sexual transformation or in terms of his outer look and style. Of course, all this is happening under the supervision of his mentor and dominant man, Bernie Higgins.
In book one, Eli was more hesitant and unsure about submitting to Bernie. Here, the boy fully submits to him. He feels so close to him as if he is part of Bernie’s soul, body, and life. That said, Eli still makes mistakes and grapples with understanding Bernie’s expectations, but he always tries, in his own way, to please the man he has given himself to.
At times, Eli feels Bernie is distant emotionally from him, so he will work hard to seek his affection and attention. Eli finds in Clem a good friend he can trust. Clem had a decent part in the first book, but she gets a major role in this book. Clem isn't the only key character; you'll see the others grow too.
Through Clem, Eli learns more about Bernie, and he comes to trust her advice, especially when it comes to his personal transformation. The boy craves to please his master and will do whatever it takes to please him.
One of the highlights in this book is Eli coming out to his parents. Although it doesn't happen in a direct approach, the authors present it in an engaging manner. It shows how two parents' reactions could be different from each other.
The erotic scenes are wonderful, and I was expecting that, having loved the first book. Eli here is more of a mature submissive boy, unlike in book one, in which he was naive and still unsure where he belonged. The chemistry between him and Bernie is fire! Yes, the two go through an emotional rollercoaster, but the strength of their bond eventually becomes more solid. Scenes such as the theater scene and the delivery assignment scene show that the authors know their craft very well. They have skillfully crafted and meticulously handled these scenes without going overboard.
What I sincerely appreciate about this book is that it not only concentrated on the relationship between Bernie and Eli but also created that bond between Eli and Clem and, at the same time, showed us Clem and Bernie’s strong friendship. Bernie’s backstory is touched upon, and I suspect we’ll learn even more in the future books through Eli’s perspective.
This is such a fantastic read. The book is beautifully written, incorporating bold themes that challenge the gender norms people face today. The supporting characters are as excellent as the main characters, and they all feel like real people. This is a strong second book. I’m truly thankful to the authors for providing me with a review copy of this book.
The Seduction, the first book of the Eli series by B.J. Frazier & Jessie Spectre, was one of those stories that kind of sneaks up on you, teases you with its secrets, and cracks the closet door open for sweet young Eli Shaw. With The Corruption, the second book, we begin to get longer glimpses and deeper hints as to those secrets as the closet door swings wide open and Eli immerses himself in his newfound excitement.
There’s a lot about this book I can’t really get into without spoiling the story for readers who’ve yet to indulge, but there are a few aspects I am delighted to talk about – starting with its androgyny. When she sees him struggling with Bernie’s inconsistent attentions, Eli’s landlady thrusts him into a bizarre whirlwind of a makeover that accentuates his softness and blurs his masculinity. It’s like a feminization fantasy, but carefully orchestrated to just step over the gender line, not leap full-on into the other end of the spectrum. That androgyny pops up again later in the book, with the reveal that a secondary character does leap back and forth between genders, helping Eli to impress his old roommate while still hiding his secrets.
As for Bernie, there’s such a mix of danger and delight within him that I really have no idea how far the series will go, or in what direction it will take him and Eli. We definitely see some shadows of dominance here, some exhibitionist commands that allow Eli to explore more of his new desires, especially as it comes time for him to start making deliveries . . . but I shall say no more!
Like the first book, this installment continues to engage the curious cast of characters and personalities as it shifts into more explicit sexuality and kink, but never loses the sweet thrill of first-time discovery. Eli has already grown so much in just two stories, and while I have my thoughts of where I’d like to see him go, I’m quiet content to be surprised.
This is book two of the five book Eli series written by B. J. Frazier and Jessie Spectre. It reads like a B. j. Frazier book and there is no hint that different sections were written by different authors. In this installment we find Eli really taking to his newly realized attraction to men. The relationship between the two main characters gets a bit bumpy as relationships tend to do. Bernie starts to be more of a Dom with Eli and he is still working through the loss of his previous partner and apparent love of his life despite it being five years since his death. Bernie is definitely hesitant to label his relationship with Eli as anything special, thought it’s fairly easy to see Eli is more than the run of the mill fling for Bernie. We learn more about Bernie’s business, businesses really, and we see Eli become more involved with them. By the end of the second installment it seems that most of the roughness between Eli and Bernie has, if not resolved, been moving in that direction.
Incredible follow up to part one and great to see the change of title character Eli from awkward and confused young man to sexually explorative femboy.
Eli really embraces his feminine and submissive qualities, with the help of both Bernie, his partner/Dom and Clem, an authoritative Domme who is low-key the best character in the book.
Between the new, hot, sexual experiences Eli is awakened to, he also is coming to grips with the changes in his character and how others perceive him.
There is a lot of innocence that Eli still carries despite his newfound sexuality, and seeing how he maintains that throughout his experiences makes me worry for him and what he may be exposed to as he matures.
However, I'm pulling for him and can't wait to see what kinds of adventures, and misadventures he'll have next.
B.J. Frazier and Jessie Spectre do not disappoint in this second story of Eli's discovery and exploration of his sexuality. Multiple dominants are at play in this book, friends but with possibly conflicting motivations with regards to their interest in Eli. I highly recommend this series about a gay young man's discovery of his sexuality whether you are gay or not. B.J. Frazier and Jessie Spectre weave a complex web of a tale with the currently naive protagonist at the center. If you enjoy the D/s dynamic, you will enjoy this book.
Eli - Book Two ~ The Corruption is the second installment of the Eli story. We see in this installment Eli's gullibility being exposed. Eli believes people are basically good and trustworthy and he brings this to his budding romance with Bernie. Young and naïve, Eli is as much lead by his youthful testosterone driven lust while at the same time discovering the feelings of a “first love” for an older mature male. Eli lacks the discernment at this point to be able to read the people around him like his co-worker Zac, Philip a roommate and Clem, a good friend of Bernie. Will this change in time? What we see in this installment is Eli’s acceptance of his sexual orientation and hints of embracing their feminine personality and appearance. We see Bernie, testing Eli’s submissive personality which is symbolized by him wearing a chastity cage for Bernie. Bernie puts Eli in situations that for the reader are erotic and test Eli’s temperament to embrace his submissive side. How willingly is Eli? Eli is excited by each adventure and in time this will shape Eli’s feelings and thinking. Yet, despite his pretense to be distant and detached we have hints that in matters of the heart Bernie is attracted to Eli’s youth and enthusiasm to please Bernie both sexually and in wanting to do what Bernie asks of him. And this conflict carries the reader into the next chapters. Will Bernie accept his loss of someone dear to him and let himself be open to a new relationship? Will Eli’s new escapades change his feelings for Bernie? The Corruption takes the reader into a new world. A world with erotic scenes that excite the imagination, but are not over the top exaggerations. The reader peeks into a lifestyle where domination and submission are accepted. The World of Bernie and Eli reveal their baser needs and wants. But even in that world and lifestyle, attraction and love still pull at Eli and Bernie in a way that is very human. The primary story gives the reader an evolving story of Eli and Bernie’s still new relationship. BJ Frazier and Jessie Spectre create a world that the mature Bernie and naïve Eli are finding their way in and will lead them to be together or apart.
The young, no longer shy, unexperienced and open-minded guy Eli gets lured down the rabbit-hole - deeper and deeper. And the desire to follow that call is very strong. He wants and tries to please Bernie. Eli has to go through very hot highs and very emotional lows. It seems as if he allowed himself to follow his deepest and previously unknown desires - he's in the process of finding his true self and realizing the devastating effect he has on others.
Eli book two is a great continuation from the, er, opening installment. It has B.J.s usual mix of great characters, scenes, and dialog. And none of the characters is perfect and boring, they all have some occasional behavior that keeps them realistic and harder to pigeonhole as a totally 'good guy' or 'bad guy' (or woman). And in this one B.J. more fully develops all of the principal characters a bit and colors in more of what seems to be a simmering plotline to be fully revealed later.
I also have to add that these are, at least I feel, some of the hottest kink and sex scenes B.J. has ever written, and I'm straight! And they too move along nicely, a nice little dish along the way of the main story without being too florid or detailed but not skimping or cutting away from the juicy stuff either.
In summary, if you haven't started this series, go read Book One, which is a quick read, so you can get to Book Two, while I get started on Book Three and beyond!
BJ does it yet again. Every time I say her book is the best, it’s true. Yet she always surpasses her previous writing. She is a stellar author! Great character development as always. You can picture the action scenes as you read them!! Can’t wait for book 3!!!!
