She has loathed him for the last eight years. Now she's stuck with him for the next eight weeks.
Mia hasn't seen Oliver Blake in nearly a decade. Not since she signed up for his student film crew call and left the room in tears. It took one meeting for him to ruin her reputation, and for her to see him for who he truly is: a devil in disguise.
Eight years later, Mia has her own business and new dreams. When she's offered the opportunity to plan the biggest event of her career, she can hardly believe her luck.
The only problem? Her clients want the whole thing filmed. By none other than Oliver Blake.
Since laughing her out of his crew call and branding her a vapid fangirl, Oliver has made a name for himself in the entertainment industry. He's a famous director, notorious dreamboat, and—you guessed it—just as arrogant as he had been eight years ago.
Mia will be stuck with him for the next two months, sharing hotel rooms and late-night phone calls, unless she figures out how to get him off the shoot and out of her life for good.
Only, Oliver isn't willing to play fair. He's having too much fun getting under her skin, and if Mia isn't careful, into her bed. She has spent the last decade loathing the man who holds her future in his hands.
So why is hate starting to feel a lot closer to something else?
Fix It In Post is a spicy slow-burn enemies-to-lovers romance with a healthy dose of forced proximity and some groveling to boot. Featuring a grumpy x grumpier pairing, banter, and a guaranteed happily ever after.
Lila de Luna likes enemies that turn into lovers and romances that deserve a second chance. She writes heroes in shades of gray and heroines who can hold their own.
I was excited to discover this book since it sounded fun and there were very few reviews so it felt relatively unknown. There were some things that were cute, but overall didn’t make a last impression
Pros: - It was a nod to all romance movies. Each chapter’s title was a romance movie title and there were moments in it that I could recognize from the well known stories we all love - it felt like it had major P&P inspiration behind the story. From some of the characters names, to certain dialogue, to the enemies-to-lovers, and both characters were very prideful and a bit prejudice
Cons - I really didn’t like the guy 😬 he was moody and just not nice for the first 2/3 until he decided he would act on his feelings and then went all in and was nice and sweet, but it gave me whiplash and felt like the female should just ignore quiet moodiness and annoying disposition that had been going on for over half the book. I’ve never actually read P&P, so maybe that’s the way Darcy is in the book? Idk I found him to be annoying and just not nice.
cutesy palate cleanser a bit cheesy and i kinda hated how quickly they got together in the sense confessed their feelings ESP the mmc, he did a whole 180 without rly explaining why and also the groveling sucked but it was a pretty solid book!
Literal doormat fmc. Horrible characters and single POV, I.e. the doormat. This is going to be a painful dnf. Gives in to everyone, pathetic, just Ick. Guess I didn’t find a new author to read. 🤷🏼♀️
Omg I can’t help it I really liked this book!!! it’s everything great about what pad books but with a very realistic and good writing. So this book follows Mia and Oliver, who actually went to college together and now they’re working together, and Mia actually despises Oliver because he is the reason that she dropped out of film school. The only way she can get this big client is if she works with all of her because they want him and his name and I actually like this book because it was slow burn but not so slow burn. The whole thing was like 400 pages on my iBooks, so it was not a really long and drawn out slow burn. I just can’t describe that I had the feels for this book. I felt like the main character had grown in the years that she left college and so it just keep presents backbone and whenever she thought something but I was like please say that please don’t keep it and she would actually say that and I love an authors do that because it gets rid of like miscommunication that I think makes books
I also want to mention that I probably give out like two or 35 star rating of the year so I was kind of second-guessing whether or not I should give us a five star reading but honestly I was really excited to read it. I have been kind of reading slump lately, and I’ve only wanted to listen to Books, but this book I was so excited to read it and come home from work to read it because it just was building up some inks. I was hoping there would be like some bigger twist of All over me doing something he wasn’t supposed to which there was, but I don’t know why I had this theory that Oliver worked for the law firm and he wanted me here to work for them so he could get closer to her and he put on this façade of you know him needing to be the progress room but I guess I was just reading too much into things. But the author still did give us some groveling and push back and angst from Mia and I was so so, so so happy to read that. Like, for example, in the end, when Oliver leaves her in the hotel room, he had a good reason, but and even though Mia believed him, she still was disappointed, and it kind of solidified for her that maybe they were not meant to be which obviously it’s a romance for the end up together but it was nice to just have him pine for her when she had that wrap party.
Omg btw that was so freaking cute. The fact that it came full circle with him, giving her the dream she wanted is planning a certain type of party and him making a movie that he liked even though critics hated it. And that’s another thing I liked about this book is that it was just realistic enough that it didn’t make you feel like again it was written by a Wattpad author. Great I felt like everything loaded really well in the story flowed great and I just liked it a lot

I LOVED this book!!! I don’t typically write reviews - in fact, this is the first one I’ve ever written. Normally, I post my stars and move on my merry way.
I saw this book teased on tiktok by the author and thought the premise seemed cute enough and cute is an understatement! When I say I ate this sh!t up I mean I DEVOURED IT. I was kicking my feet and giggling the whole way.
The characters were *chef’s kiss* - Mia was strong and fierce. She confronted her insecurities and rolled with the punches in a such a believable way. Oliver was sweet and confident but not the typical “alpha” most MMCs are in these books. He was layered and felt real. My only “call-out” is that I wish this book was duel POV because I would have loved to see his side of things more! I don’t think it takes away from the story that it’s solely from Mia’s POV, it just would have been fun!
Oh, and Mia’s bestie/roommate has to arguably be one of the best side characters in a book I’ve read. She was hilarious and I really enjoyed some of her lines.
Overall, I was promised a funny, charming romance/love story and the author delivered!!!
1) Holy rushed third act, Batman! I think this needed way less beginning and way, way more end.
2) I don’t usually have a problem with how many POVs an author writes - even if I prefer dual POV, most of the time once I’ve finished the book I can recognize that it was best with just one perspective because the author knows how to best tell their story. However, this book having only one POV kinda did it a disservice.
Mostly in Oliver’s characterization - there’s this relatively abrupt shift between annoyance, semi mean-spirited teasing, and actual genuine feelings. You’re left feeling like he’s jumping wayyyy off the deep end as the reader, because you haven’t gotten to see the way his thoughts and feelings have developed, yk?
That’s not even mentioning his development as a character outside of the romance. He grows a lot in this book, but it’s almost all off page. The Oliver who apologizes at the end is *not* the Oliver from the beginning, but because his development is all done while he’s filming his movie and this is only one POV he just sort of disappears for a while and then comes back having completed a full character arc, with us seeing almost none of it.

3 stars I generally enjoyed reading the book. However, I felt like the MMC should have groveled more. I don’t know that I felt like they really liked each other more than they lusted after each other. I was happy that the FMC was ignoring his calls and deleting his voicemails because he deserved that. I know he “left” early for a reason but he could have filled her in because I would have been LIVID if I were Mia to be just like used and abandoned especially because he knows the role he played in her leaving film school.
What I didn’t like: The law firm slut shaming the FMC The FMC just giving up on film school after one bad crew call (I know it worked out but like seems like she gave up easily) MMC seemed like a jerk most of the book and it might have been beneficial to “feel” their connection if we got his POV too
What I did like: Women in suits!! FMC being a bad ass at her job Mia and Wills relationship Mia and Olivia’s relationship (Mia didn’t hate Olivia just because she initially liked Oliver too)
TW: Slut shaming Misogyny

I saw this book on tiktok and as everyone knows how that goes, you never know what to expect from one little quote. But oh my, I was hooked! Sat down in one sitting and read the whole thing. This book completely captivated me. I’m a sucker for enemies to lovers too so I was excited to start this! I dont know if it was because I’m so impatient or so absorbed into this story but it felt like so long until the characters finally gave in, which I loved it! Also can we talk about Oliver!! He’s a ‘baby boy’ coded, he wasn’t one to show his emotions. But did in such small ways which I loved so much especially as someone who does the same! Mia, is also such a headstrong women! I loved her and I especially loved when she stuck up for herself against you know who. Lila, did such an amazing job! Can’t wait to see what the future hold for her!!
Giving this bokk 4 stars would be too much, it was a 3.5 for me... It was a wasy read, I am going through an reading slump no seem to guve up on books at 80 this was a nice distraction was looking for a small easy contemporary romance book to read this was it... This days authors unnecessary prolong their romance book this was short and the reason it isn't a 5 star is because I wanted to know a little bit more no mention both of the mc's parents family I wanted to know about it was a little unclear when the mmc fell in love and I love a slow burn but the couple took too long to get together and too fast broke up wasn't really satisfied with that... However, overall for the authors debut it was a good book better than some cringe booktok smuts college romance books..
Honestly I was a little wary about reading a book with only like 7 ratings, but I’m glad I did. It deserves to be read by more people. I thought it was a good mild enemies to lovers story and I read it in a day. I didn’t realize it was a debut until after I finished it. In my opinion it’s written better than a fair amount of books I’ve seen on Kindle Unlimited 😂.
This book was really cute! I liked the FMC the best. I thought it was a great palate cleanser and it helped me out of my book slump. I think it would have been much better if it had the MMC’s pov, too. I still recommend it!
This book wasn’t bad but the mmc was a so infuriating and I didn’t like how the fmc didn’t have a backbone. Parts of it were good but the pretty much constant back and forth between the couple got old pretty fast.
2.75 stars. this satisfied my short romance read cravings! the spice was great and i liked how the main pairing went from abhorrence to affection. although i didn't like the third act separation conflict, i'm still looking forward for more books from this debut author!
absolutely obsessed is an understatement! loved loved loved. Mia is such a strong and admirable main character and Oliver is a really likeable love interest! Can’t wait to read more from Lila!
