Rhiannon thought facing off against a deranged child vampire was the most dangerous task she would ever have to undertake, but she’s about to discover making a deal with a demon is far, far worse. Sent forward into another reality, one in which vampires are now dominating nearly extinct humans, she realizes the sooner she returns to her vampire lover, Disco, the better.
Unfortunately, time changes a lot of things, including those most trusted around her. When she’s faced with a loss and betrayal unlike any she has ever known, her focus shifts from severing the debt between the demon that wants to kill her, to exacting a revenge that will bring forth consequences she never could have fathomed. By reaching out to the darkness lingering within her, she’ll find the strength to push forward despite the circumstances that would see her dead and buried.
After all, when it’s all said and done, all that she has left to lose is her soul.

I'll write my review when I can figure out how to write the review without ruining it for everyone. With the major cliffhanger in book 1, if I talk about any characters in book 2, you'll know who "survived" in Rhiannon's new future.
In the meantime, I will say this...
I read this book during work hours, I read it when I should have been sleeping and I was so sad when the pages came to an end. It was...
... much better than book 1 and I LOVED book 1. ... full of action, was dark and gritty. ... heartbreaking!!!! ... surprising, shocking and I loved the twists! ... sad because I now have to wait for book 3 and I don't want to!!
WARNING! This review contains mild spoilers as well as a severe case of potty mouth!
Great.Fucking.Book !!!!
This is one of those books where you wish you had taken a speed-reading course because it is so good that you can't get the words into your head fast enough. When I was finished, I actually gave Ms. Saare a round of applause.
It starts off at the end of the previous book where Rhiannon has been duped by a demon and has been transported 101 years into the future. The world has changed dramatically. Over the previous century, vampires officially revealed themselves and a war broke out between humans and vampires resulting in humans either having to hide for their safety or submit to being blood slaves for vampires. Rhiannon spends most of the book trying to figure out how to get back to her time. In the interim, she finds out that Disco . She ends up inadvertently finding Paine and Goose and explains what has happened. It's revealed that they knew what happened to her and have been waiting for her to return. It is also revealed that Paine has been in love with her since he first touched her but kept quiet at the time out of respect for Disco. Now, this is where I will deviate from most of the opinions of my dear, dear Good Reads friends. So I apologize ahead of time, Girls, if I piss any of you off! :) Rhiannon, having been traumatized by her recent experiences and feeling vulnerable decides to . This (obviously) results in him being even more in love with her and her feeling ridiculously uncomfortable around him. (Well what the fuck did you think would happen, Rhiannon!). She eventually finds her way back to her time and . Disco eventually discovers what she has done and loses his shit. He proceeds to mind-rape her to find out what happened. Here's a thought, Disco! Do you think you could have put your dick back in your pants for 5 minutes so your girlfriend can explain to you what happened like she has asked 100 GODDAMN TIMES IN THE LAST 5 MINUTES. Instead, you do exactly what she told you never to do because that would be the ultimate violation to her considering her horrific past. Here's another idea! How about after you mind fuck the shit out of her, resulting in her horrified screams, and find out that she really didn't do anything wrong, you don't just look at her with no emotion and leave the fucking room. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrr!
You can say what you want about Paine but what he did pales in comparison to this.
This is a book full of twists and turns (and Carter, yay!) and I cannot wait until the next one.["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>
I absolutely Loved Loved Loved this book from start to finish!!
When I get home I know the first thing I was getting. A tattoo on my forehead that says, "Your ticket to insane shit stops here."
I sat down in bed planning to read a chapter before going to sleep and the next thing I knew it was 4:30 am and I had finished the entire book. Renfield was so exciting and action packed, nothing mattered but finishing, not sleep, not food, only this book. :)
"You have something that belongs to me. And I want her back."
I'm not even sure I can write a proper review because everything seems to be a spoiler. So I decided to share a few of my favorite quotes in the meantime. Prior to reading this I read tons of reviews and so many of them had spoilers in them without warning (none were my GR friends) so I decided I didn't want to spoil it for any unsuspecting readers, so I'm just going to say read it! What are you waiting for? There's plenty of surprises your way and J.A. Saare knows how to torture me tug at my heart strings while entertaining me at the same time.
"You have a lot to answer for love, I can't decide if I want to take you to my bed and bust that perfect ass of yours" his hand came down cupping my right buttock. "Or rip off your clothing and you here and now against the wall."
Best book I've read in a very long time!!!
I like Paine I really do, but he's NO Disco! Disco still holds my heart. <3 <3
To all of you Disco fans, J.A. Saare shared this drool worthy photo with me, so it has to be placed as visual in case any of you need persuasion to read this amazing series! ;) Enjoy!
If you haven't read Dead, Undead or Somwhere in Between, I wouldn't read this. If you haven't read Renfield, I'm trying hard to hide spoilers, but you may want to skip this, too.
"Rhiannon's Law #22. You can't lie to yourself, so don't bother trying. Doing so only multiplies your douchebag level to umpteenth power and confirms what others have been saying about you for years - that you are an idiot."
The Renfield Syndrome begins right where Undead left off. Rhiannon is 101 years into a very different future. New York City is a wasteland. Humans are scarce. It's a completely different world, with new, powerful creatures inhabiting it. Rhiannon is immediately picked up by a military-type named Carter. Carter tries to hold Rhiannon, for all intents and purposes, prisoner. He won't allow Rhiannon to look for Paine's club or to try to contact her "family." When Rhiannon realizes that Disco's presence isn't with her in the future, she begins to panic. Carter is holding Rhiannon at a compound filled with others like him. Let's just say he isn't of the human persuasion. The females in this compound don't like Rhiannon one bit. This dislike culminates in an awesome, kick-ass, to-the-death fight. It is gory, intense and extremely visual. It is an epic fight that is written so well, I felt like I was there in the room watching.
"I didn't hesitate, snagging a thick, heavy book and bringing it around, building momentum, and slugged the good word across the side of Jackson's head like a sacred baseball bat full of deliverance."
She pleads with Carter to take her to Goose's old apartment. Carter, who is a class-A jerk by the way, relents and takes her to Goose's old apartment, which is in an unfriendly area of town. Rhiannon eventually makes it to Goose's place to find him still there with a girl named Belles. Of course, Carter tries to take Rhiannon back, which ends in yet another crazy fight scene. The detail in these fight scenes is intense.
Future Paine shows up and they are able to get Rhiannon away from Carter. This is where things go from good to very good. Future Paine is sexy, confident and has one purpose in mind. He is near-obsessed with Rhiannon. At first, I was quite taken with future Paine:
"You have something that belongs to me," Paine said in a soft, menacing tone and stopped a mere yard or so away. "I want her back."
Goose tells Rhiannon that Disco . Fan girl sighhhhhh.....
Anyhow, Future Paine is totally,
Here's the turning point in my Paine love. He gets Rhiannon alone
Anyhow, we learn that half-demons are in charge of the world now, and they have envisioned a hell-on-earth. This is just more ammunition for Rhiannon to do what she can to change things.
So, with the help of poltergeist Sonya, Rhiannon hatches a plot that includes her super nifty amulet. Rhiannon finds And I believe that she's not only doing it for Disco, although that's a big part of it. Rhiannon doesn't want the world to turn into this hell-on-earth scenario that she is currently witnessing.
"I loved him more than anything else in the world.
"You have a lot to answer for, love. I can't decide if I want to take you to my bed and bust that perfect ass of your, or rip off your clothing and take you here and now against the wall."
Once Rhiannon This would be where the shit hits the fan, ya'll.
So now, I'm interested in seeing how The Ripple Effect changes the nature of what happened in this book. I cannot wait for The Ripple Effect, and it has launched it's way into my top 5 most awaited books of 2012.
If you like UF, kick-ass, snarky heroines, and sexy leading men, please read this book. It is well written, and left me wanting A LOT more. J.A. Saare has positioned herself as a must-read author, and I can't wait for the adventures of Disco, Rhiannon, Goose and the rest of the "family" to continue.
“Vampires, and werewolves, and demons, oh my”….. INDEED.
Highly recommended that you read book number one, ‘Dead, Undead, or Somewhere in Between’ prior to reading this book or my review. You have been warned! :)
The Renfield Syndrome picks right up from the cliffhanger that ‘Dead, Undead, and Somewhere in Between’ left us all with. But all is not right in Kansas, oh no. Rhiannon is now 101 years in the future after making a deal with the demon Zagan in order for him to forgive his deal with her vampire lover Disco. In a nutshell? The world 101 years in the future is one insane crazy ass place where all kinds of creepy crawlies have decided to come out and play… and they’re not limited to just the nighttime. Rhiannon has to find Disco in order to fulfill her debt to Zagan and she only has a limited amount of time in which to do this.
This book was one wild rollercoaster ride. It seemed like every other page Rhiannon was kicking someone else’s ass… and it was great! She’s evolved into one serious badass chick. I thought ‘Dead, Undead, and Somewhere in Between’ was awesome; ‘The Renfield Syndrome’ was the perfect continuation to a great story. Fortunately for my sanity, the ending to this book wasn’t as huge a cliffhanger as much as the first one was; however, it still managed to leave you wanting more.
As other readers have stated, it’s pretty damn near impossible to really talk about the book without revealing anything that’s vital to the story. Honestly, the majority of the book needs to be experienced first-hand so I don’t want to ruin it for everyone. So what are you waiting for, go pick this one up… you won’t be disappointed.
“Rhiannon’s Law #22. You can’t lie to yourself, so don’t bother trying.”
*happy sigh* And with that first line, Rhiannon is back and I am so happy she is. Not only because JA Saare left us hanging with one hell of a cliffhanger at the end of Dead, Undead and Somewhere in Between, but because Rhiannon is awesome.
The Renfield Syndrome starts off exactly where the last book ends off. For months I have been wondering what (and this is the part where I must warn you that there is going to be a spoiler for the first book right about now) happens to Rhiannon after she gets dumped off 101 years in the future by that awful demon. The awful, conniving, trickster, arse-wipe of a demon. Well, I have to tell you that since reaching the end of book one, I have been speculating about what could happen to Rhiannon, Goose, Paine, Disco and the others. Let me tell you that what actually happens isn’t anywhere near what I thought might happen. The reality didn’t even cross my mind! Maybe I was too narrow-minded in my thinking, but wow! JA really pulled something spectacular out of her hat. Even if at times I wanted to say “Why? Why?” I trusted that she would take the book to a good place and I was right. This is still very much an Urban Fantasy book, so there aren’t any fluffy little cupid babies running around on fluffy white clouds, but I felt satisfied with how everything turned out.
I still really enjoy Rhiannon. Spunky and full of fire, she makes me wish I was more like her. I would love to have her clever retorts! There weren’t quite as many in this book as the last one, but with everything she goes through, she doesn’t really have the chance to be her snarky self. Does that mean that she is quiet and subdued? If you think that is even a possibility, you have not read book one and you really need to. I not only like her for her wit, but I like how real she is. She is not afraid to show her fear or confusion or vulnerability. Even though she is surrounded by vampires and demons and other such creatures, she is still easy to connect with. She is a fantastic read.
The other character that is unforgettable from the first book is Disco. Oh Disco. So, so delicious that Disco is… But as yummy he is, you really get a taste of his power and a reminder that he is in fact a vampire in this book. I was even almost angry with him for a half a second. But how can you stay mad at him? I am very curious to see what happens with him in the next book. After reading this one, Disco’s character can go anywhere really.
Paine was a surprise for me. A good one. And Goose? I really like him and he is so good for Rhiannon. The villain was just a piece of work and I’m sure we’ll see her again in the next book. There were plenty of new characters but Carter seems to be the one that stands out the most. At first he seemed alright, then I may have wanted smack him a little from time to time. Oh, who am I kidding? I wanted to flat out backhand him!
The story takes you to so many places, it’s amazing. And the pace is so quick. It’s very hard to put this book down once you start it. It just flies by and by the end, you want The Ripple Effect (the third book in the series) to come out Now as opposed to next year!
As I read this book, I kept saying one thing over and over and that is: “Ho-ly shit!” The Renfield Syndrome is how a second Urban Fantasy book in a series should read. It grips you from beginning until the very end while giving you high action moments, happy moments, OMFG moments and tender moments. Fans of UF should not miss this series. With characters you will not forget and a storyline that will enthrall you, you will be hooked like the rest of us are.
Quick Rundown: The Renfield Syndrome picks up right where Dead, Undead, or Somewhere in Between left off. Being indebted to a demon has little perks and the consequences lead Rhiannon into a time warp which propels her 101 years into the future. Her vampire lover, Disco, is missing, New York looks like a ghost town and there is a shifter by the name of Carter who believes Rhiannon is destined to be his mate and refuses to let her out of his sight. But Rhiannon is tough, tenacious and determined to do whatever is necessary to complete her task and reverse time to where her life had a tad less chaos than her current circumstances.
First Impression: When I think of author J.A. Saare and Rhiannon’s Law, I know to be ready for a mental workout and the ride of my life. Ms. Saare did not disappoint in this second installment. Packed full of action from takeoff, I strapped my seatbelt on and settled in for a turbulent, yet oh so enjoyable ride.
The Heroine: Rhiannon is one of the most badass heroine’s I have read in Urban Fantasy to date. From her snarky “one liners” to her own mental black book of “Rhiannon’s Law” facts which she lists by number, you can bet she is going to grab whatever life throws her by the balls and not look back. While being an extremely clever and independent woman, she also has a very caring heart and vulnerabilities that are witnessed through her thoughts and actions towards others. Rhiannon is the kind of character/woman you would love to have as a best friend because when it comes down to the wire she will always have your back.
The Hero: Ms. Saare brings two heroes to the series and in turn creates a well developed romantic triangle. While we see less of Disco, who is the main hero of the first book, his presence is still very real and his life has made a lasting impression on those that are closest to him. Paine, who stands as more of the main hero in this book, has somewhat of a character transformation and we begin to see his true feelings and desires for Rhiannon which were for the most part hidden in the first book.
What worked: Just when you think you know where the story is heading, you get slapped in the face with the opposite outcome. The plot and action is full throttle from beginning to end and the emotional level of the characters as they live through it is prominent and clear to the reader. You are physically laughing, screaming, and at times teary in witnessing the drama of Rhiannon and those closest to her.
What didn’t work: There was really nothing that didn’t work. The pace of the story was steady, solid and there were a lot of “wow”, “what the ?”, “omg” moments. At times, I questioned if I would be okay with the outcome of several pivotal moments, but in the end I definitely felt the vibe of emotion, circumstances and how it all played out.
Final Conclusion: Ms. Saare has definitely grown into her comfort zone of Urban Fantasy and it is evident in this second installment of Rhiannon’s Law. What I enjoy most about her writing style is her strong characters, fast paced storylines, and lack of fluff! She does not settle by leaving the reader with a quickly wrapped HEA. She takes her characters on an emotionally dark and gritty journey that would have the normal human begging for the alcohol and a lifetime prescription of Xanex. Thank goodness we can escape into her world and witness the journey without chronic anxiety attacks! The Renfield Syndrome delivered the action, humor, grit, and emotion I have come to expect from Ms. Saare and I cannot wait for the next installment (The Ripple Effect) in this “fly by the seat of your pants” series.
Favorite Quote:
“You have a lot to answer for, love. I can’t decide if I want to take you to my bed and bust that perfect ass of yours-or rip off your clothing and take you here and now against the wall.”
I’ve been waiting a long time to get my hands on The Renfield Syndrome, book two in J.A. Saare’s Rhiannon’s Law series. Book one ends in a big cliffhanger. Making a deal with a demon, to save her lover Disco, Rhiannon ends up 101 years into the future. End of book one. Hello there book heart attack!
The Renfield Syndrome picks up right where book one leaves off. Rhiannon sees a newspaper and knows she has traveled 100 years into the future. She also knows to pay her debt to the demon, she must deliver a message to Disco for the debt to be served. Finding Disco is going to be the tricky part. Even worse – this is not the New York she remembers. No one is out walking around. There is no noise in the big city. What she doesn’t know is that over these past 100 years, there was a war with the vampires. During this war, the Renfield vaccine was created. If a vampire bit you, the vampire died. Seemed like a great solution, until the side effects started kicking in about 30 years later. All of a sudden those that had taken the vaccine started to age rapidly. They all die within hours of each other. The vampires won the war, and forced all living humans into blood slavery. A new race of shifters became the vampires main enemy, and that is who Rhiannon discovers first as she searches for Disco.
Unfortunately for Rhiannon, Carter one of the head shifters, has decided Rhiannon is his destined mate. He refuses to let her leave their compound, for her own safety. But Rhiannon could care less about her safety she wants to get out in the city to find Disco, deliver the message and be done with the demon.
It’s hard to go into much more of this book because we start drifting in big spoiler areas. I will say this book takes a very unexpected turn. I did the “Oh. Wait. What?” several times. By the end of the book, I’m kind of excited by how things turn out. Do I think everyone will be excited? I think there will be a few not happy. I think we need to remember this is an urban fantasy series with several more books to go. But I think J.A. Saare writes this book really well. She builds up to the twists and turns and by the end I really am on board with where this story is headed (or at least where I hope it is headed).
Rhiannon is still a very sarcastic heroine, but very amusing, she doesn’t cross the sarcastic annoying line. I did expect her to be a bit more sad and upset when she realizes she is 101 years into the future and Disco can’t be found. Her sadness didn’t come through to me. I also had a hard time remembering the details of the demon deal at the end of book one and I don’t think it is hashed out well in this one. I was confused by exactly what is going on with the demon. Otherwise she goes on quite an emotional journey that I really enjoyed. She finds herself doing things that she isn’t absolutely proud of, but she does them to survive. And to make her situation and circumstances for those she cares for better. She doesn’t always choose the right path, but that is why I like this story so much. As Rhiannon says, “now that is some fucked up shit,” and that pretty much covers a lot of what happens to her in this story.
We meet many new characters in the future – and for as much as I wanted Rhiannon to kick Carter’s butt for demanding that she be his mate, I think he is a really fun dude to read about. All alpha and stubborn. And he poses a new direction for Rhiannon to take. She could live with him and be safe, and start her life over again in this future world. But Rhiannon is anything but stubborn and I love her determination to find her love ones and figure out a solution.
We also revisit past characters, most notably Goose and Paine, and they both play a very big part in this story.
I can’t wait to hear everyone’s thoughts after they read this book. We have much to talk about!! The third book is called, The Ripple Effect due out next year. If you haven’t read book one, Dead, Undead or Somewhere In Between, I highly recommend it.
9 years later & still amazing. What a complex, interesting world.
Earlier review:
I am in love with this series.
This book from beginning to end is a complete mind f*ck! Everything that happens to Rhiannon & everything that she MAKES happen is AMAZING. I really enjoyed book 1 but there is no comparison to book 2 - this blows book 1 completely out of the water. It's not my style to write a synopsis of the book in my reviews, so I won't. If you're a fan of PNR or a fan of UF, you need to pick up this series. You will not regret it.
YAY!!!! Rhonda finally finished this novel and we have hooked up to write an awesome joint review. Check it out here on our blog http://samsawesomness.blogspot.com/20...
or If you're feeling lazy, read it here. LOL!!!
Rhonda: J.A. Sarre had me at “Undead” (Dead, Undead or Somewhere In Between, Rhiannon’s Law #1 ) I loved that book so much, and Renfield Syndrome has been a highly anticipated book for me. I was super excited that Elena decided to join me on this crazy, awesome ride, even though she left me in the dust. LOL!
Elena: I do have a tendency of leaving my friends in a buddy read behind. BUT, all for a good reason. I just can’t help it! If you haven't read this series, then smack yourself upside your head, cause you deserve it! Hehe.... It's such a crazy, suspenseful, mind-blogging series! Edge of your seat and biting your finger nail kinda good! I'm hanging by a thread here. Waiting for the next novel is complete torture! Grrrrrr......
Rhonda: If you’re a lover of PNR and UF, this series does not disappoint!! Vampires, Werewolves, and Demons OH MY!! Rhiannon strikes a bargain with a demon, and is catapulted 101 years into the future, to a demonic post apocalyptic New York in search of Disco, her oh so sexy vampire boyfriend, to try and fulfill her end of the bargain.
Elena: What Rhonda said above, I’d take her in on her opinion if I were you. I assure you, she’s not lying. After Rhiannon falls flat on her ass, into the future,101 years later in NY, to a city she no longer recognizes. My first thought was, " Oh No! She was suppose to go back and have more smexin with Disco", My heart thumped, spasmed and skipped a beat at that thought. Back to the story. Who the hell does Zagan think he is? Yeah, I know, a creepy Demon that takes advantages of bargains and debts owed.Creep De-Lou Bastard. Back to the topic again.... Rhiannon has to fulfill her part of the bargain, the bargain she made to Zagan. Which was to give one message to Disco. What message? Read it, and find out :P I can tell you one thing, "Mad shite goes down in this novel"!!
Rhonda: Saare’s writing is top notch, she tells Rhiannon’s first person POV is flawlessly. Her Characterization is awesome, from Rhiannon’s bad-ass, witty, “don’t fuck with bull, you’ll get the horns” personality. To Paine… who just made my heart ache. All the secondary characters were really well developed too. This ride was crazy good, biting lip, twisting fingers kinda awesome!
Elena: Rhiannon’s character is so intriguing and easy to love. Actually, I wanna love all the characters in this novel forever and ever. Lol!! Whaaa? Can't I have a happily ever after? RIGHT.... In my dreams ahahaha..... Rhiannon, Disco and Paine = Pure hot tingly sensations that'll make your bones quiver! The word "HOT" doesn't symbolize their true nature of what they're made of. Whew! Everything is all good in their neighborhood. The person that broke my heart and shattered it to pieces was,Paine. Why oh why did the author take that direction with his story? Oh Helpmerhonda I almost passed out :P It took me so long to get used to things. I'm not sure if I ever will like him in that sorta way. Just because Disco will always be my one and only *Sighs* Although Disco p'd me off with his head invasion Grrr! All in all. Saare wrote such a phenomenal series that I'm so addicted to, I don't want it to ever end. EVER!
Rhonda: Okay, I'm gonna defend Disco here. That "Mind Invasion" was wrong, buuuuut.... I don't see any other way for him to believe in Rhiannon. Now Paine, he was really sweet, and I hope he gets his HEA, I was thinking about Jennifer, Rihannon's sister. What if Rhiannon has to take her to NY, and Paine finds the same..... traits in her that he finds in Rhiannon?? That would be awesome!!!! But Disco is da bomb, for sure!! Now the wait in on for book 3. Gaaaaahhhh!! Mrs. Saare, you torture me, and I loved every page!!
Elena: You got a point there Rhonda. Everyone is in the wrong in this novel. But it is what it is and I LOVE this book for all those reasons. *rubs hands together* Paine and Jennifer? Nice thinking!!
Warning: May contain spoilers if you haven't read the first book.
Rhiannon's Law #68: If you're going to fly by the seat of your pants, rock out with your cock out. The landing is going to hurt either way, and you might as well make an impression when you nail it."
There's a reason Rhiannon Murphy has rules. There's also a better reason why she chooses to live by said rules. Often flying by the seat of her pants, Rhiannon's latest escapade has her living in a future she certainly never fathomed. Making a deal with a demon is guaranteed tricky business, which is how Rhiannon finds herself 101 years in the future. Something called the Renfield Syndrome has nearly decimated the human population and even worse, vampires and half-demons run this new world. As if that weren't sinister enough, there are also Lycanthropes. The Lycae are indeed real and they are warring with the vamps to try and restore balance to this new future. Rhiannon has to satisfy her end of the bargain with Zagan, delivering a message to Gabriel. With a new social structure set in place in future New York City, such a task is nearly impossible. While the city may look the same, it's dramatically different once Rhiannon takes in her surroundings.
In the future NYC, things are looking decidedly grim: Armageddon is looming, if what Rhiannon experiences isn't already it. With the passing of such time, it's unclear whether or not her vampire family still exists, let alone resides in the same area. Rhiannon has many choices to make in this installment, some of which could change the course of history as she knows it. Loyalty and love are the guiding forces in her decisions and even with Paine's strong advice and warning about the Ripple Effect, Rhiannon knows what she has to do. The consequences could be just as devastating as the current world, but that's a risk she must take.
In this installment, Rhiannon is still harnessing the power that comes along with being a necromancer. While much of her power is still untapped and for the most part, unknown, she is literally flying blind and using a good portion of trial and error. When a surprising artifact reaches out to her yet again, Rhiannon learns that she can tap into her "gift" and use it much the same as she could with the connection given to her when she was marked. Of course that comes with yet again another price: a new deal with a new entity, one that can take her to the bowels of dear Lucifer's stomping grounds.
Much of The Renfield Syndrome had such a depressing tone to it. Saare was not afraid to rip readers' hearts out, mine included. After living a life of heartache and betrayal, I never expected Rhiannon to once again experience that very same thing from those she's finally given her trust to.
"You didn't hurt those you loved. Once bitten, twice shy. It was more than a great eighties song --- it was a motto worth living by."
And hurt, Rhiannon was. It's going to be really interesting how this situation plays out in future installments, especially given the choices and the sacrifices Rhiannon has made to rectify certain events. I don't know if she can move forward from such a deep emotional cut and more importantly, I don't know if I can on her behalf.
"Rhiannon's Law #14: There's a reason the truth hurts. When you cease to feel the sting, it means you've stopped caring. And damn, wouldn't that be a total fucking waste?"
I highly recommend this for lovers of UF. To me, the characters are what make this series a favorite. Each and every one, from aptly named Paine to Goose to Rhiannon and Disco, each one is so very dynamic and essential to making this series such a hit for me. While the previous storyline didn't offer really anything new and different, The Renfield Sydrome certainly did. The last one was a five star read for me and this installment easily tops that. I would give it double the stars if I could. The only bad part of these books are that they are a little short. Flying through them and then having to wait for the newest re-release is a real bummer, but one I'm OK with having to endure :)
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.

WLP: Of course Pam had to take the lead in reading, I was on page 15 & Pam was at 60! Thus leading to a late night for me, for some reason I stopped at 2am on page 140. THANK GOD I stopped when I did. I picked up the book after my first cup of coffee & damn near almost actually phoned Pam to freak out. Alas, Pam fell asleep reading so I had no one to share my OMG Jaime is pure evil goodness with….but Jaime. That’s right, I went straight to DM to talk it out with Jaime & Bells.
SPAZ: I tried Nat, I really tried. I almost resorted to using toothpicks to hold my eyelids up, but my brain was just like, no-uh hooker time to say nightnight to the ass-kicking.
Spaz’s Favorite Quotes:
When I got home, I knew the first thing I was getting. A tattoo on my forehead that said, “Your ticket to insane shit stops here.” pg.14
Holy fucking God. The New York of the future was not the New York of which I approved. pg. 68
We don’t need another hero? Fuck you, Tina. I’ll stick with Bonnie Tyler. pg. 84
I was sure my apparel didn’t meet her standards. It was all good. As shitty as the ripped, bloody, and ugly-ass camouflage looked, I wouldn’t be caught dead in a cat suit. pg. 90
“Things will be different between us,” I told him, meaning every word. “I promise you.” pg. 155
I’d accomplished what I needed to by facing my past and forcing myself to balls up. While it didn’t feel as good as I thought it might, it was a start. pg. 192
WLP’s Favorite Quote:
I don’t have one, plus Pam kinda went quote crazy. I have two favorite scenes: The fight scene. I swear to you Jaime Saare is the QUEEN of chick fights, this is how real chicks fight. We don’t choreograph our moves, we fight dirty. We pull hair, smack a bitch & eye poke. I applaud this scene, it was nothing short of truly brutal goodness. The other scene I can’t talk about, but it involved Paine & Rhi and damn if I didn’t get teary.
SPAZ: *snickers* myyyy baad! And this is the I-Have-To-Cut-It-Down-To-Avoid-Spoilers quote list! Like the second to last quote there? You don’t know who she’s talking to. HA! But yeah, seriously Nat, we have the same two favorite scenes as well… Jaime outdid herself with THE fight scene. We Ladies have no rules, and Jaime captured that beautifully! It’s ugly, raw, and so so good. And the second one that cannot be discussed? Water particles may have collected at the edges of my eyes for some reason as well, but we don’t need to talk about that right now.
Pam & I both agree, The Renfield Syndrome is a total 5 star book. I don’t know how much longer we can wait for book three, The Ripple Effect!! If you haven’t started this series yet, it’s time to get your booties in gear. Start with the first book Dead, Undead or Somewhere in Between right now. We promise, you will not be disappointed.
Quick Take:Violent, brutal, and gory. But also tender, sweet, and resonant. I loved the ride this book took me on, and cannot--CANNOT--wait to check out the next book.
Review: First things first. Reading the first book in this series is a must. Upon finishing the book Dead, Undead, or Somewhere in Between, I was wrecked--in the best possible way. Yes, there was a cliffhanger. Yes, said cliffhanger was a doozy. And yes, Lucy has a lot o' splainin' to do. ^_^ But the anticipation that the ending engendered within me was caused most by the sheer possibility that was left for the following book. It practically switched genres (or at least broadened the range of classification that was possible for Renfield)! So upon opening this new book, I literally had no clue what to expect. What a fabulous and exhilarating feeling to have, especially with a book that's part of a series--and thus tends to come with a number of expectations.
The world that was created in this book was quite engaging. There was barely anything recognizable about this New York City, but it was definitely fun getting to figure out its new rules and intricacies. The world has got its fair share of violence and gore. But it definitely works and it's not gratuitous for its own sake.
Saare's got some brass ovaries, man. She's not trying to play shit safe. The plot of Renfield is unrelenting, and no promises are made for the characters or their situations. The best thing about that fact is that I still trusted that the story would end up just the way it should--which is not to say I thought it would end up how I thought it should. Rather, Saare did a wonderful job of making whatever happened make logical sense. Gonna blow up the universe? Okay, great! Here's why it's gonna be that way.
A note about characters. I love 'em. Rhiannon, for one, is such a pure pleasure to "hear" as a narrator. She's got a measure of sass, but the way she processes the world around her reveals a range of emotion and insight. This is the Rhi that I've been waiting for. And even so, she goes through a hell of a lot of growth and change. The Rhi at the end of the book is even more developed and changed from the one of the book's beginning. Outside of Rhiannon, I'd hate to reveal who's in the book (since at the end of book one, we're not mean to know what's befallen the main cast), but will say that I luuurve the guy that takes up most of this book's focus. Sexy? Brooding? Intense? Check, check, check.
Good graciousness, I enjoyed this book. If you want to know deets, just pick the book up and make it happen; anything else would be a spoiler, and believe me when I say you want the story to unfold before you. There's a lot of action, lots of intrigue, and some fabulously juicy romantic development. Put this one up on my "favorites of 2011" shelf, thank-you-very-much.
The 2nd book in Rhiannon's world was fabulous, the drama was unfolding almost immediately as she is thrown into the future. I was on a joy-ride of emotions for the most part, thinking I wanted one thing and then feeling another and this continued to the very end.
I fell in love with Disco/Gabriel in book one, this book just made me want to love him more but things kind of got in the way... I was thrilled with Paine at one point in this book, then I kinda fell into a tangle of emotions, not quite sure how I felt, and now? I'm still unsure... What an ending! I adore Goose/Ethan, he is just another 'geeky' guy that you can't help but like, however, in the future, I understand why he is like he is, but I didn't particularly like it!!!
Rhiannon? She rocks!!! She kicks shit!!! She is packed with surprises and I just love her!!!
As I say, this book had me all over and I loved it... it was so much better than the first one, probably because I knew the characters already and I was in the swing of their storylines... I am looking forward to book 3 - The Ripple Effect!
In Six Words: surpassed all of my crazy expectations
Why did I read this? And am I glad I did? I really enjoyed the first in this series, Dead, Undead, or Somewhere in Between, which ended with a HUGE cliffhanger that was so amazing that I could barely be mad about it. So after an epic battle of wills with Amanda (which I won), I started this book as soon as it was available. I was not in any way disappointed. I laughed. I cried. I cussed in surprise on multiple accounts. Just when I thought I had a handle on where the story was heading it flipped. I started reading the About the Author section before I realized that the book was over (and then cussed some more). The hard part will be writing a review without spoilers…
I absolutely love where the author took the series and will be pre-ordering the next book as soon as it’s available.
What a fun ride J.A Saare took us on. The Renfield Syndrome starts right where Book one left off with Rhiannon. The whole book was non-stop action and page turning questions. What will Rhiannon do? Will she find Disco? Is everyone alive?
The end.. God Ms.Saare what are you doing to me!!
I've gotta say that I loved Rhia at the end. I thought she stayed true to herself, and I admired her during the aftermath.
Rhiannon strikes a bargain with a demon, and is catapulted 101 years into the future, to a demonic post apocalyptic New York in search of Disco, her oh so sexy vampire boyfriend, to try and fulfil her end of the bargain.
Elena: What Rhonda said above, I’d take her in on her opinion if I were you. I assure you, she’s not lying. After Rhiannon falls flat on her ass, into the future, 101 years later in NY, to a city she no longer recognizes. My first thought was, " Oh No! She was suppose to go back and have more smexin with Disco", My heart thumped, spasmed and skipped a beat at that thought. Back to the story. Who the hell does Zagan think he is? Yeah, I know, a creepy Demon that takes advantages of bargains and debts owed. Creep De-Lou Bastard.
Whew! Everything is all good in their neighbourhood. The person that broke my heart and shattered it to pieces was, Paine.
Now Paine, he was really sweet, and I hope he gets his HEA, I was thinking about Jennifer, Rhiannon’s sister. What if Rhiannon has to take her to NY, and Paine finds the same..... Traits in her that he finds in Rhiannon?? That would be awesome!!!! But Disco is da bomb, for sure!! Now the wait is on for book 3.
Wow, nothing in that book went as I expected it to. It amazes me the twists and turns J.A. Saare has managed to write into the story and still keep in from getting too much.
This book picks up right where the first one finished. Rhiannon has just made a deal with a demon and he transported her 101 years in the future where a thing called 'The Renfield Syndrome' has managed to wipe out millions of humans. Vampires are at the top of the food chain and are using humans as their slaves. Needless to say Rhia is pretty shocked and has to find Disco as soon as possible to complete the debt she owns, unfortunately things aren't that easy.
There are so many shocking moments in this book that I lost count, I was gasping left, right and center. I love Rhia, she is such a tough heroine and reminds me a lot of Kate Daniels. She gets kidnapped so many times but does she take it lying down?? Hell no!! You can guarantee that she'll hit you where it hurts every time. Apart from Disco, Paine is one of my favorite character and I just LOVED every scene with him in it. This book has everything in it, I laughed, cried, screamed in frustration and sighed in contentment, 'The Renfield Syndrome' blows the first book out of the water.
The Epilogue nearly made me commit murder, it just...ended! But don't worry J.A. Saare fans there is a snippet from book three 'The Ripple Effect,' which managed to tide me over till it's release in 2012. I have a feeling it's going to be the best one yet!
Reread Review: This was a reread for me and it was just as good the second time around. This time it was a lot sadder to me knowing how things happen in the next book. I love Paine! It's so hard to pick who's my favorite between him and Disco. The vulnerability he shows in this book is sad and touching. Of course Rhiannon kicked some major a$$ in this one whether it's a vamp, werewolf or demon. For a human she can hold her own.
Original Review This one picks up where #1 ended. Rhiannon is thrown into the future. Things are not what she expected. She meets up with a pack of werewolves, tries to get back to the vampire family, and save the world from its future destruction. This book surprised me from start to finish and it's hard to review without spoiling it. And once again ends with a cliffhanger.
I liked the first book, and this sequel didn't disappoint. A very twisty plot, with some developments I genuinely didn't see coming, and some heart-wrenching moments that were all the more affecting because it was easy to see the point of view of all the characters involved. Saare really has her work cut out for her with the next book in the series. She's already laid the foundations for a suspenseful plot, and I can't wait to see what the author does with Rhiannon's relationships with the other characters.
Ok she is now on the top of my list of female leads that will not be tolerated.
Rhiannon is worse in this book imo. I was all ready to tolerate her and put her in perspective, then men all start falling all over her, and she gets even stronger to back up her arrogance..
Last night, I finished this book and rated in three stars. Having had more time to think about it and consider my disappointment with how this all played out, I had to revoke a star. Because actually, the disappointment was fairly intense. And here's why:
I found the romance in the first book to be pretty average and predictable. A little bit boring, but not ridiculous and not quite insta-love. So I was thrilled when a demon dumped Rhiannon off 101 years in the future. What's going to happen now? Is he going to be with someone else and be like 'get off my porch' or will he even be alive or will he be alive but she won't find out until she's already fallen in love with someone else? Or will she move on just to be plopped back into the past? And also, there's the whole dystopian vampire/demon/werewolf future going on, and it's crawling with danger far more intense than it was in the first book (which I quite liked, btw). So basically, I was ready for shit to go down. And there's about a million different ways it could have gone down. Thus, the route she chose really surprised me.
It was safe, boring, and, in a way, utterly pointless. Spoilers begin here.
Also, I've read that despite the fact that there is no ending for the third book, she wasn't even going to write a fourth book because she was too busy crying about piracy or some shit. Really? So you don't really care about the fans of the series that want to find out what happens or your story or your characters? Just money and some people downloading your books for free? That's why there aren't eBooks for this series and I had to crawl through broken glass and sell my left kidney just to acquire a used copy of the second book online? I mean, I guess there's going to be one at some point in time, but still. That's pretty pathetic.
Pathetic enough that I doubt I'll bother to read the third book. And I think I'm going to remove the other Saare books on my to-read list as well.
After making a deal with a demon to help her vampire boyfriend, Disco, Rhiannon ends up 101 years in the future. In the future Rhiannon finds things are very different - Disco is dead, werewolves are real and humans are dying from a disease known as the Renfield Syndrome. Rhiannon fights to find a way back to her own time in order to change the future.
-Rhiannon was an absolutely awful heroine. In the first chapter, Rhiannon's nearly killed by a vampire and when she's saved by humans she acts like an ungrateful bitch - snarling and snapping at them for no reason when all they'd done was save her life. I didn't understand why so many men fell for her - she was an insufferable, raging bitch. There were times when she was likeable for example her visiting Jennifer in hospital and her getting closer to Paine but those moments were few and far between. I got tired of hearing about Rhiannon's fucked up knee - every other paragraph she kept mentioning it...surely there could have been other things to write about. Rhiannon's one-liners' and quips weren't funny AT ALL - her sense of humour was rubbish.
-I liked that it was set 101 years in the future, I was actually quite keen on finding out what happened to everyone. I was disappointed that at the end Rhiannon went back to her own time - the future was far more interesting.
-Paine and Rhiannon's romance was a lot more endearing than Rhiannon and Disco's. I think Paine's past and personality make him better suited to Rhiannon, Disco and Rhiannon don't really seem to fit together. Disco's a boring, typical hero who just seems to fall in love with any old human. Paine's admission to Rhiannon about his celibacy, lack of love in his life and his loyalty towards her showed how much she meant to him. I really do think that Disco could move on and find love after Rhiannon, his love for Rhiannon doesn't seem all that epic or special but it's obvious that Paine hasn't felt the feelings he has for Rhiannon before. I really hope Rhiannon ends up with Paine, Disco is so blah.
-The reasons behind Paine's decision to not warn people of the deaths he sees in his visions was pretty dumb. Basically he saw his dog die in a vision, so he saved him from that death, and then his dog later died in a slow and painful way instead of the quick death he would have had, had Paine not intervened. So because of what happened to his dog Paine made a rule not to change what happened in his visions in fear of making things worse, so he just let people around him die when he could have helped or given someone the option of knowing about their death even if that would mean a more painful death later. He really shouldn't have based all those rules on his dog's death when that could have just been a coincidence. He thinks he's not meant to stop the death he sees in his visions because it messes with fate but doesn't he question why was he given the visions in the first place??
-I hated the werewolf Carter. I hope he doesn't make an appearance in future books. He was a controlling, hypocritical, smug, sexist douche. I don't why he felt so betrayed by Rhiannon choosing to stay with the vampires when she made it clear to him that she wasn't interested and that she didn't want his help. He acted like she made him promises and that she owed him - he forced her to stay and then was all over her when he knew she didn't want him. He was so delusional.
-There were a few too many female characters that were portrayed in a negative way and there was too much girl on girl hate. There were a couple of decent female side characters but because their parts were so small it just seemed like pretty much all the female characters were evul bitches. I'm so tired of all the rubbish female characters.
The plot was enjoyable, the Rhiannon/Disco drama at the end was gripping and the romance between Paine/Rhiannon was intriguing but Rhiannon's personality let the book down. If Rhiannon had been less of a snapping, snarling, bitchy mess I would have rated this higher. I'm not sure how long this series is but I hope her character tones down because otherwise I'll seriously consider dropping the series.
The Renfield Syndrome picks up immediately after the stunning conclusion of Dead, Undead, and Somewhere in-Between. Bartender and necromancer Rhiannon Murphy has been transported to the year 2112 by the demon Zagan. I won't rehash the events that made her make the deal with Zagan in the first place. Please, by all means, read the first book in the series. I guarantee you won’t be sorry.
“Rhiannon’s Law # 22 – You can’t lie to yourself, so don’t bother trying. Doing so only multiplies your douchebag level to the umpteenth power and confirms what others have been saying about you for years – that you are an idiot.”
As Rhiannon is reading a copy of the Blood Times, she is understandably peeved that she was played the fool by Zagan. In this realty, Vampires are the dominate race, and humans are offering themselves up as blood slaves, immortality, money, and survival.
Rhiannon knows that if she delivers a message to Gabriel, she is unburdened from her arrangement with Zagan and hopefully will be taken back to her own time. Ah, but what would be the point if all Rhiannon had to do is walk up to him and give him a message and then return home where things would be hunky dory?
With her necromancy powers coming in more and more, Rhiannon appears to have the ability to tell when a vampire is within 30 feet of her. Upon being “rescued” by a group the vampires call Animators, Rhiannon does everything possible to escape them. At this point, Saare introduces us to the man, or rather shape-shifter, named Carter that I loathed from Rhiannon’s first meeting with him, until the last event he ends up in. Everything about him sang out piece of garbage to me as well as his pack. It doesn’t get any better when he decides to claim her as his mate in order to keep her away from the vampires. Yeah, not happening slug-o!
What is really interesting is the sudden appearance of Marigold Vesta’s amulet that gives Rhiannon awesome new abilities, and power. It also appears to allow her to heal faster, which is good, since she ends up a bloody mess more times than not.
It is really hard not to spoil what happens over the course of this story for those who may want to read it in the near future. Rhiannon makes choices out of desperation not only to save herself, but, also out of being in the moment. I don’t blame her for one of those choices. But, I felt as though she had more reservations afterwards, than being honest that she had feelings for this person from the start. Personally, I would be happy to see Rhiannon end up with HIM, rather than Gabriel. But I’m most likely in the minority.
Saare truly puts Rhiannon through a personal hell at the hands of the person she supposedly loves after she returns home after being gone for two weeks. Sorry, I can’t take rape in any form be it in body, or in the mind and thus Gabriel has lost all credibility he may earned during the first book. Again, it’s hard not to spoil why this happened, without giving away the reason behind it and what happens later. Rhiannon ends up having to face her nightmares that she thought she had forever put away in her subconscious mind thanks to this move by Gabriel.
Rhiannon’s journey will continue in The Ripple Effect (Rhiannon’s Law # 3) which releases sometime in 2012. The date is yet to be determined.
This is the second book in the Rhannons Law series and things are certainly getting a lot more complcated for the necromancer heroine Rhiannon. Not only has she become part of a vampire household but she's also fallen in love with the head vampire Disco ,not that she intends telling him. To add insult to injury Zagan a powerful demon has persuaded her to deliver a message to Disco in exchange for cancelling out a debt owed . Never trust a demon they are tricky, conniving soulless tormentors but for Disco Rhiannon is prepared to take a chance and now she finds herself thrust forward in time by one hundred and one years ! A whole lot has changed and the human race has nearly been wiped out. Rhiannon discovers that a vaccine that went wrong means the vampires are very much incharge and there's a turf war going on. Rhiannon is unsure just who she can trust in this much altered reality but with the clock ticking she cannot afford to waste any time but the choices she makes are going to bring consequences that ripple through time ! I enjoy reading these books and it's an amazing world that the author has created. As a heroine Rhiannon is very resourceful and dare I say resilient? I'm not really sure that a human could really take the punishment that's frequently inflicted on her even with the regenerative properties of vampire blood but it's always fun to read. Believe me this book sees Rhiannon getting involved in all sorts of scrapes and if you enjoy action then this book delivers in spades . This author is probably better known for her more explicit books under the pen name Aline Hunter but there's one or two sexy scenes in this book and here's where I have a problem. Rhiannon seems to be so attractive to just about every guy she meets and frankly I find that a little odd. I would have preferred a little less of reading scenes with men going gaga over her and yes I can see that her strong personality would appeal to some men but equally her smart mouth would put many off ! I freely admit I personally find her snarky comments amusing and that girl has so many "laws"that there's always something new to smile at but nearly every man she meets wanting to jump into bed with her? No it just doesn't work for me particularly considering she's supposed to be in a relationship with Disco. Having said that I did enjoy this book and the author took the story in amazing directions that constantly surprised this reader.. I can't wait to read what happens next and think fans of urban fantasy will really enjoy this series
Last book ended with Rhiannon making a deal with the demon Zagan, in order to settle her lover Disco/Gabriel's debt. If you remember, Gabriel told her that one should avoid making a deal with demons because they aren't trustworthy and you end up selling your soul in the process. Does Rhiannon listen? NOPE! She had the good intention of saving her lover, but she got tricked by Zagan and sent 101 years into the future. When she arrived New York City was a war zone, completely depleted of his glamour.
Rhiannon was immediately seized by one faction of the fighters (the werewolves) and their leader Carter immediately claimed her for his own. So Rhiannon devises a plan to get back home to Disco and her new family, but she quickly learns that many things had changed in 101 years. She makes some hard choices due to her grief and uncertainty, including another deal to get back home and owing another entity a debt.
When she arrives back into the future, it appears she was only gone for 2 weeks, but the choices she had made in the future have a major impact in the presen and Rhiannon ends up paying for in a major way.
None stop action, and non-stop snarkiness from our smart-mouthed heroine. But even this time she was brought to heel by her choices. I thought I knew who I wanted for Rhiannon as a mate , but after this book I am just flipped. The future revealed some things that I can't close my eyes too, and neither can Rhiannon and the other players involved. The future has been altered by Rhiannon's time travel, so now book 3 will reveal the ripple effects of her decision to play hero.
Great writing, great suspense, great story. I will say that one thing that I love about Rhiannon is that she doesn't make the same mistake twice. She also is a lot more loving and caring than she lets on. I think Gabriel's love gave her the confidence to start trusting again, just a little bit, but she is definitely extending herself in a way she wouldn't have in book 1. Great character development and evolution.
**Set in New York 2101 for a major part of the book**
Dead, Undead or Somewhere in Between ended with a monster game-changing cliffhanger, leaving readers tearing their hair out, needing to know what would happen to Rhiannon, Disco and the others. The Renfield Syndrome begins with Rhiannon finding herself 101 years in the future. Things have changed. Vampires no longer remain in secrecy, they aren't the only supernatural creatures around and humans are on the brink of extinction.
Rhiannon is still as badass as ever, but understandably off balance given her strange and unsettling predicament. Finding yourself a century away from everyone and everything you've ever known with no clue how to get back to your own time can do that to a person. Finding Disco is priority number one, but Rhiannon finds herself being held captive by people claiming to be protecting her within moments of arriving in the future.
As the story progresses, Rhiannon is presented with two new potential love interests. While I love Rhiannon and Disco, The Renfield Syndrome puts Rhiannon in a place in which she could, potentially chose to be with either one of them without betraying her relationship with him. One man's a new character and the other we've met previously. I loved the relationship that develops between the Rhiannon and the man she knew before. Loved it enough to quite possibly want her with him instead of Disco. Shocking, but true.
The Renfield Syndrome is constantly surprising. It's keeps you guessing constantly, never letting you even begin to believe you know who things are going to play out. Rhiannon remains one of my absolute favorite kickass female characters and Rhiannon's Law has shot up to one of my "must read each new release immediately" series. If you loved Dead, Undead or Somewhere in Between, The Renfield Syndrome will blow your mind. If you haven't checked out the Rhiannon's Law series yet, you definitely missing out.
Okay I don't know how I'm doing this bc I need my sleep.
It's a gooodd book that will keep you hooked until you finish the last page and want more
Nevertheless, I just finished the book and I'll I got to say is:OMFG! I can't believe so many things happened in a couple pages!!
I give kudos to Mrs. Saare for making me cry one minute and then get me mad at some characters *cough* Paine, Carter, Victoria, Rhia everyone haha *cough*
It was still good tho! Yet I can't believe Paine... Ugh why oh why What a BFF! He should've waited, I know a longgggg time passed and he couldn't keep it together but why so quickly! I honestly was pissed when I was reading that part! How could you Rhiannon!!!! It's like he didn't respect memories man!
Goose.Goose. I knew I was going to like this character when i read about his strawberry decorated kitchen. And I managed to like him through both books... Except at the end... I am all Team Disco/Gabriel ( if we pick teams) and I felt he betrayed Gabriel...
And Disco... Oh Gabriel, I missed you in this book! I cried, laughed, got mad with you.. All the things you did<3
So, I don't want to give it away but it's totally worth the read guys!
So I repeat..
It's a gooodd book that will keep you hooked until you finish the last page and want more..
I definitely can't wait until the next book!!! I'm counting the days!!
