Went back to the og format, not really a consistent storyline in this first volume just chapters stuck together really, but I still liked it!

Time for season 2! I'm so pumped to jump back into Rosario+Vampire. It is definitely one of my fave manga series.

This time around we are back for another year at the Academy. Things are looking up until Moka's sister arrives. Trouble begins brewing, fights occur and of course there's lots of drama.

My only downside to this start was that it started off goofy again. I liked the mature yet fun tone the last season had gotten into. The slightly immature start made me worry that the rest of the season will be like this. I hope it picks back off where the last season left tone wise.

I will say - this series is easy to jump into. If you haven't read the first season, don't worry! This book does a good job at giving you enough information to get going. It is beneficial to read the first season (and it's good, so honestly you should pick it up). If you haven't read the first season for a while, this also is super easy to go back into and you don't have to worry about your memory of past events.

Four out of five stars.

This is a great story that includes a lot of the monsters that we all know and love in a high school setting. It is cute, funny, action packed and sexy but I implore anyone who has seen the anime and hated it DON'T JUDGE THIS MANGA BY THE ANIME!!! The story is stronger, the dialogue is better and the characters are far less annoying!

The manga does not insult your intelligence but still provides an array of fan service to the benefit of the story instead of at the expense of it. Everything from epic beat downs, dramatic transformations, to steamy situations without ridiculous idiotic banter.

Story wise it is very well written and will always leave you wanting more. One of the most likable things about the manga is the consistent character development between each other and independently. It is one of my favorite manga and I can't wait for the volumes to come.

With the repairs of Yokai Academy finished things can finally go back to normal in the school...well, normal in their way, still terrifying and creepy in sophomore Tsukune Aono's way. Hoping this year things could finally go smoothly at the school for monster as he glad to see his crush Moka Akashiya's back, but sadly things never change when the rest of his friends come along...and what's this? A new student has just join the school and she's what! Read the next exciting vamphire series to see what's in store.

A strong start to the new season of a series that I have been thoroughly enjoying. I found all of the introductions to the characters to be hilarious and on point. Everyone was in the hight of their quirkiness in an effort to get back in the groove of things. The situations we were thrown into were blase but an acceptable start and a good jumping-off point for new and exciting adventures. We also got introduced to some new characters who are likely to bring in a bunch of new calamities. I'm looking forward to making more progress in this new and exciting series.

This is better than S1 because the art is more gorgeous and we get to see more of our main boi Tsukune becoming something that I never would expect the normal protagonist of the harem genre would be lol. I also get to see the alter waifu herself, Moka kicking every bad guy ass she can take and the ending was effin awesome too (ng spoil y’all).

Guys read both even if S1 was a bummer, you’ll be happier with S2 believe me…

Back to reading this series whilst having a break between reads and what a good start to volume 2. Fun filled and packed with action, what isn't to love. Didn't feel like I hadn't read it for a while and just dropped right back into the story easily. Looking forward to where this series takes the characters!

Usual slow beginning, but I enjoy the addition of a new character as it highlights more of Moka's life/past. The team is back at getting into sticky situations, and I am loving it.

Pretty decent vampire manga, love some of the characters and art but the story wasn’t that great! Definitely prefer the anime 😁👌❤️

We usually have a human girl that the supernatural guys fight over, but in this manga the trope is turned on its head.

A human guy accidentally transferred to a monster school and a few powerful girls compete with each other for his affections.

Very funny and the comebacks between the characters are very witty.

This is the second season of an already established series but you can read it without reading season 1,as you do get explanations for the plot.

Si me seguís de hace tiempo sabéis que los mangas de rosario me encantan y como no, tenía que leerme la segunda temporada así que el estilo es parecido pero el final me ha encantado y meter personajes nuevos es un puntazo importante a la trama.
Moka es genial.

Strong new season opener - Moka, Kurumu, Mizore, are all still vying for Tsukune's attention. He only has eyes for Moka but wishes she wanted him for more than his blood. In the first half our unlikey heroes must bond whilst hunting for the monster durian - carnivous fruit! The second half introduces Moka's annoying half sister Koko who is constantly trying to provoke her.

Larger than life characters, fun stories and stunning artwork make this series a real treat.

I thought this would be awful but I actually had fun reading it.!

I like how the male lead is just weak and useless while all the female characters are awesome!

There are some "panty shots" which are just weird and seem out of place to me but it's not too often, and didn't ruin my enjoyment at all (I just found it amusing how stupid they were)

I haven't read any of the first series, so don't know what exactly has happened before this but that wasn't a problem at all.

Started the new series off with a bang! Things are progressing nicely in the story, and they are still introducing new characters and whatnot! Mokas little sister can be awesome at times, and the most annoying character at others. Overall a solid addition to the Rosa-vamp series!

Rosario+vampire is a good akuma based manga. It has a good art style and a good plot line. The akuma concept is good and very entertaining. Characters are good and interesting. The second season of rosario brings more plot, characters and twist. Very entertaining and darker than the first season.

An interesting start to the sequel as we get some really funny moments and finally meet Kokoa who actually has a pretty interesting relationship with Moka. Also love how Yukari, Moka, Mizore, and Kurumu start the series off by fighting each other over Tsukune.

Nice start to the new "season". Like the new sister character, and it seems to be getting off early with setting up an overall enemy arch, which is good.

Far too juvenile for my taste. Too many childish fights and looking up schoolgirls’ skirts. Really not what I’m into.

Konnichiwa a todas, lectoras 🌸

So, if you were a fan of the initial series, you’ll probably enjoy this sequel.

Essentially, it’s the same type of format as the first series—just with more elaboration on the central cast of characters. This initial volume doesn’t even introduce a new villain necessarily. Most of the conflict seems to be internal.

Again, I’m not personally a big fan of this genre of manga that has a central, mediocre male character with no interesting skills or discernible charm who somehow still manages to collect a harem of beautiful, capable, and fascinating female characters—I understand that it appeals to a certain audience who may relate to the male character but I don’t believe it’s a very interesting genre overall. To me, it’s the most potentially toxic and insidious of fantasy.

Anyway, if you’re reading this just for fun or because you enjoy fantasy romance series with lots of melodrama, more power to you~
