I feel like this story has potential which deserves an extra star, but as it is currently written it is sorely lacking. The dialogue is poorly constructed in such a way that it ruins the immersion of the plot, and I simply could not look past it. There were some instances where I couldn't even tell what the character was trying to say, and at that point I gave up and decided not to finish the book.

The overall story was interesting and a quick read. The vampires have an 80s vibe and there are a lot of bike races and chases. It takes you a minute to realize everything that is going on but interesting enough once you figure it out.
My most favorite book! This is the book that reinspired me, rekindled me back to reading, to love to read again. And for the first time I read it my imagination went wild..... I got lost in the story, I felt I belonged in it. The thrills, chases, the bikes races, and Jon.....he's mysterious, exciting, powerful where I find myself captivated almost entranced or everything disappears around me and I'm in a story following him ....what is he up to now lol. I love this story I reread it all the time. The characters are awesome and I analyze what the next book will be like.... My favorite story to turn to when I need to escape the world.
It's my 100th reread and going strong!... I'll read it a billion times it's special like that 😊

I tried to give this book a chance, but in the end I couldn't bring myself to finish it. The book had a really nice concept, but the execution fell flat for me. The prose was not very good. The dialogue is awkward. I don't know if the book gets better or not because I just couldn't get past the writing. There are a couple of good reviews, so I assume some people enjoyed it, but it was not for me. Since I didn't finish it, I'll leave 3 stars.
I have read "Nightfall" and I love it. There's a lot of motorcycles action it it. The vampire reminds me of the vampire horror movies from the 80's. All in all, there is a lot of action, you won't get bored.
