Jamais vu

Rate this book
"Jamais [zha may vu] the feeling that what one has done much of his life is foreignJamais vu is a portrayal of my escape from Christiandom and the fundamental beliefs that abused me for 54 years. Though it was written like a journal, the reader will find it to have parts that might actually be termed “metaphysical” in nature and delves deeply into the underbelly of my self-destructive beliefs. The things I experienced are very real to me and became the catalyst for the honesty needed to break free from the theological crustaceans I was encased in.This is not meant to be a self-help book. The way I processed my release would probably work for no one but me, but I have decided to share my experience in the hope that those who find themselves in a similar situation will muster the courage to forge their own path out of whatever holds them back.My journey is by no means over or complete; therefore, I submit Jamais vu, not as a complete telling, but as a snippet of a larger, unfinished story - the story of me."

Well written and honest; this little book is packed with big messages. I appreciate Susan's willingness to share some of her personal history and life lessons.
