Sotiny Bryer’s accidentally got hitched to her brother’s best friend Alex Fields one night years ago but it’s just on paper. They haven’t truly spoken unless they have to at work but now they are assigned a project together and have to get along. Can they get over their tenuous relationship to worth together and maybe even rekindle suppressed feelings? If you recognize the names, Sotiny’s brother is Damon from book one in this series. This is a fast paced, second chance workplace romance. Told in first person and dual POV.

I loved the mix of angst and longing, especially with the “we shouldn’t want this” energy running through the entire story. It made every moment between them feel earned.

It is a relationship from childhood to present day, revealing how it evolves and dissolves. It is heartbreaking, amusing, and entertaining.
Sotiny Bryer's childhood was not pleasant, she was the daughter her mother never wanted, and as a result suffered numerous years of abuse. A death in her family makes the situation worse. Sotiny hides herself from others, no one sees her true self or her emotions ... no one except Alex Fields, her brother's best friend. Sotiny wants Alex in ways she shouldn't. Witnessing the abuse Sotiny receives, Alex takes it upon himself to be her protector, but it's more than that, and he knows she's off limits. After an argument and a fight, the two don't see each other for several years, in Vegas of all places. One thing leads to another, and wedding rings are involved. Heartache and anger ensue when Sotiny realizes her mistake and runs away.

His words and actions had me swooning and sighing all over, he captured my heart. Sotiny, understandably, had built huge walls around her heart for protection, she feared being rejected again, of not being enough. Working together was agony for both, but it also forces them to face their desires.
US FOR THE NIGHT was both heart shattering and uplifting. Alex was perfect with Sotiny, giving her the love, tenderness, and confidence, she always needed. Don't get me wrong, there were some extremely hot and spicy moments that you won't want to miss. I loved everything about Alex and Sotiny's story, it was captivating.

I liked this book. This second chance contemporary romance was emotionally gripping while having me cheer these two MC's on.
Sotiny is understandably guarded from a traumatic past. Alex has only ever wanted to be there for Sotiny, but he has a play boy reputation that doesn't do any favors for the walls that Sotiny has put up.
This book is full of push and pulls, and sure, there's miscommunication. It feels extremely relevant to the storyline though, given our character's past. While I'd get frustrated with it, it was never because I didn't understand why.
Overall, this book was a quick read (I read it in a day), and I'm definitely ready for the next one.

This is a well written easy to read, emotional roller coaster story, with family, friendships, tension, angst, close proximity, secrets, romance, second chances, undeniable chemistry, and love, which leads to an entertaining, addictive page turner.
I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

Alex likes to push Sotiny buttons. He knows just how to get her riled up. They are like frenemies to lovers. However, when they were younger, they were in love with each other. Yet, there was one problem and that is Sotiny's brother.
"I want you. I need you. I care for you. I think I'm in love with you."
Sotiny and Alex are great together. I love the flash backs to when these two were younger. Getting to know them better and their relationship on where it started was lovely. These two share some steamy moments. The moments are made better because there are real feelings involved.
This is my favorite book in this series. Two hearts become one.

This is the 2nd book in this intriguing series and featuring Alex and Sotiny's story. After seeing the push/pull between them, the love/hate spats in the first book I was looking forward to their book and finding out their story. I was not disappointed!

I was so happy reading the book.
The Chemistry between Sotiny and Alex got me hooked!
It is a second chance Romance with an accidental marriage. She is a uptight, successful virgin, he easygoing playboy.
If you are looking for a secret Romance with a Hate-Love relationship this might just be the book for you.
Both are polar opposites with a joint past and workplace. How are they going to overcome the obstacles and what happened in Vegas?

Sotiny and Alex's story was a fun one! They knew each other many years ago, and found themselves working together, sniping at each other daily. Until one day it all changes.
This was an easy read. I liked the flashbacks from the past, highlighting the history between these two. There were some emotional moments, and some fun ones, but that history really made the story for me.
It was great to see Damon and Clover again, though I'm curious about Hayden's story. I'd like to know more.

Wow great book. Loaded with snark and a great intense romance.
Reunited on a work project, after many years apart, Alex wants Sotiny back.
The friction that was never ending made this fun but also definitely played to the passion between them. A wedding that never went anywhere years before, stands to spark again except for the unwritten best friend's sister rule.
Such a great book that kept me involved and a plot work a few laughs as well. A real must read!

i was pleasantly surprised by this one. i wasnt sure how i would like it as im not usually a big second chance person but i think how this was done was perfect. they have alot of history but no cheating or even really dating in their past. she's a little broken and he trying so hard. there is alot of yearning and fighting. I enjoyed this couple way more than i originally thought i would.

This is book 2 in the series and was as enjoyable as the first. I was hoping for this couples book after book 1 and I was not disappointed. The tension is on point between this pair. This is a quick read and with all the push and pull I was just glad to see this pair get the second chance they deserved.

Us for the Night is the definition of "it’s always been you" angst. Alex and Sotiny’s chemistry is absolutely electric, but the betrayal runs deep. 💔 If you love a slow burn that actually pays off with high heat, this is your next read.

I loved this book, Alex and Sotiny are fab! We find out a little about their journey in Clover and Damons book so it was real nice to dive into them more! The banter between these two is fabulous 👌 and the chemistry was 🔥! Definitely a very enjoyable fast paced read!
