Twenty years had come and gone. My brothers were now older with crow’s feet and silvered hair. Their kids were no longer kids. Prospects had become brothers, and more had come to take their place.
It was tough to see that everything had changed— Everything except me. I was a stone left unturned.
I thought my day would never come. But then, I saw her.
She had a fire in her eyes and a mouth full of sass. But she was broken—haunted by a cruel past. Making her mine wouldn’t be easy, but I was a patient man.
I just had to convince her that I was a chance worth taking.
Q is a standalone MC romance with a group of foul-mouthed, possessive alphas who will do whatever it takes to protect the women they love. There are some heavy topics in this story that some might find troubling-including domestic assualt, but rest assured, the HEA will have you begging for more. No cliffhanger and no cheating. Enjoy the ride!
This my bring triggers to some and then it may remind you of what a parent went through for you. These two learn to trust again with each other, although for Jules, it may take a while. She was in a very abusive relationship. She did what she had to do to survive. Emotional story for me. HEA for now.
Loved Quinton aka Q's and Jules story, this was a great addition to this ongoing series. As always with this author the story had amazing characters we loved them all, it is hard to believe that these original members already have grown kids of their own who are having kids themselves.
Jules has had it rough, and she escaped a painful past but, she is moving on but, it's made her attitude prickly and her heart distrustful and her walls are up all the time but, one man remains persistent to see if he could at least put a crack in them. We know just who we will be rooting for.
Q we loved him from the moment we met him, loved the fact that no matter Jules's prickly nature at the moment the continued to try to get to know her and earn her trust and not just walk away because in the back of his kind he knew if he practiced patience he would get the chance with the woman who made his dick hard and his heart crave thump hard. Loved him, he too was a sweet and kind and loving guy but, just as fierce as the rest of his brothers.
Once we g0t to know Jules we found he to be a sweetheart and brave & kind and loving and being so distrustful of men she had valid reasons. And we loved the little steps she took to put her trust in someone once again. We just loved her.
The story was a bit emotional, had a bit of suspense but, overall, the story was fun and flirty, and we really enjoyed it and found ourselves grinning throughout most of the story. The chemistry between Q and Jules was great. There were tons of hot and sexy scenes along with sensual ones. The side characters as well-made the story a great hit.
Overall though, we loved seeing some of the MC members who have kids being as protective of them as they were with their old ladies, they were down right funny at times with trying to deal with them all grown up mostly comical to say the least.
To say I loved Q's story is putting it mildly. These two stole my heart from the get-go and kept it secure for the entirety of the story. Their story was overflowing with emotion and passion. It was at times heartbreaking, but Q had a way of putting you back together. This biker might have lived a life of grit and chaos but when it came to Jules this man made you swoon. The chemistry between them was off the charts and the connection that these two had was intense and powerful. Their story had grit, drama and a little angst to hold you captivated right to the end. If there were two characters that deserved a happy ending it was definitely these two.
Q was the tenth book in the Satan’s Fury MC series by L Wilder. It can be read as a stand-alone but was more enjoyable having read the full series in order.
I’ve taken a break from formal reviews for a while, but a couple quick thoughts: I enjoyed both Q and Jules. Q was at a point in his life that he wanted a life partner but wasn’t willing to settle. His brothers had found love and he didn’t understand why it hadn’t happened to him yet, until he met Jules. Jules was on the run from domestic abuse and had no interest in a relationship - friend or other - with a man. She had only suffered hurt, pain, deception and betrayal from the men in her life, and she was done. Thus the plot began…. All in all, I enjoyed both the characters and the storyline. Additionally, there was an MC conflict brewing that will carry over to future books and I can’t wait to see how it unfolds.
Touched my heart in so many ways. Kudos Ms. Wilder for giving Q and Jules their perfect storyline, even if their lives were anything but perfect. Q was attracted to Jules from the first glance, but she didn’t want anything to do with him, or any other man for that matter. Her past left her with little trust in people, especially men, and she didn’t trust her own choices, they always seemed to steer her wrong. But if Q is anything, it’s strong willed and persistent. He knows she’s built walls to hide something and his gut is telling him he needs to be there for her. Their path isn’t smooth sailing, in fact it’s more like a bumpy road. But with the help of some Tequila Shots, a pool table and some pushy friends, things take an uphill turn. But will she ever be open to trying again? Can she trust another man with her heart?
Outstanding read. We see old friends and meet some new ones. The club still has some enemies yet the brother is still going strong. I highly recommend grabbing up Q, you won’t regret it.
Q was restless waiting for his turn, wondering if it’d ever come, he’d been a young man when he joined Fury. Now his contemporaries had found purpose and themselves with their women. Helping one of the brothers at the orchard, all it took was one look and Q was hooked but Jules was having none of it.
When Q made a couple of flirty overtures Jules shut him down hard. At every opportunity, Q shows Jules kindness and his interest that she pays back in rudeness. After growing up in an abusive home and surviving a worse marriage Jules ran away taking her negative outlook on men with her.
Just as Q’s patience pays off, trouble is sneaking in their door as the boys figure out things aren’t as secure as they thought. It seems to be trouble they can’t name. Plus, Jules ex didn’t take getting divorce papers well at all and intends to use his special method of getting her to change her mind. Rating: 4stars
I have enjoyed this club, and it was nice to get time with them again.
Q and Jules don't start out wonderfully, but it is completely understandable, once her background is explained.
There are some really tough parts in her past, that may be triggering for some people who have experienced something similar, so be aware of that.
This was easy to read and enjoy, and I recommend reading this series in the correct order to get the most from the story and series. The MC brotherhood is good and easy to connect with. There aren't a lot of club girls and the ones in this book are minor mentions.
I enjoyed this story and look forward to reading the next one.
While all the other brothers have found the one and only Q has been alone. Then bam she’s right there but they are off to a angsty start from the get go.
“I’m not used to people being nice to me, especially where men are concerned, so I’ve stayed away and just did my own thing.
JULES has sworn off men after what she’s been trough but Q is sexy and a good man.
“Well, yeah. You’re my girl. Of course, I want you to come with me.” I’m so in love with Quinton he is absolutely swoon worthy.
This is a slow burn romance with suspense. Lots of sexual tension. It was good to catch up with old friends and look forward to what comes next.
Q and Jules are two yings to yangs in this Satan's Fury MC read. From the get go these two had a connection so well written you could feel it. Absolutely love L. Wilders writing style with these Hot AS Hell ALPHA men and their Old Ladies. The next generation has started out fire, Jules is one hard as nails chick who's seen the gates of hell and survived only to meet her mortal savior unknowing she was saving Q all the while. Hot sinful delicious and wicked smiles will have you turning page after page.
A heartbreakingly beautiful, intensely emotional and utterly captivating ride to go on with Q and Jules. The things Jules went through with her ex hit me on a personal level. This story broke my heart but slowly pieced it back together with the way Q treated Jules. His attentiveness, understanding and patience was absolutely endearing. These are two people who were always meant to be together. Their road wasn’t smooth but their destination was simply perfect. I loved, adored and enjoyed everything about this story. Can’t wait to see what comes next for the Satan’s Fury MC.
Let me start by saying Leslie Wilder is one of my favorite authors. Q never had any one special in his life and when he meets Jules something stirs inside him. But Jules has her walls up and wants nothing to do with Q. Can Q break those walls and enter Jules’ heart? Can Jules let her past go? Q and Jules are made for each other, you will swoon at how Q shows his love for Jules.
Although she denies it, there’s definitely something between Q and Jules from the start. Jules has been burned in the past and hurt by those meant to care for her. This makes it hard for her to open up and let Q in. But when she does (with the help of some alcohol) it’s game on for Q and he’s determined to win her over. I loved this emotional story and their journey to a HEA.
From the very beginning I was drawn into Q and Jules world. Jules has been through so much trauma in her life that she vows to never trust men again. A comes into her life and turns her world upside down. Trust is a big thing for her, but A is up for the challenge to prove to her not all men are life her father and ex. Their story is emotional and the outcome couldn't have made me happier.
I loved Q and Jules. These two have an intense connection with more in common then they think. The push/pull at first makes you want to read a bit quicker to see what happens, but you also savor every page because you don’t want to miss anything. It is a suck you in and make you lost track of time read. So make sure you click this.
This is Q’s story from the Satan’s Fury MC. Loved the chemistry between Q and Jules. He could see the hurt and wariness in her eyes and knew he had to step lightly and earn her trust. Once he found out about what she’d been through he took his time, let her get to know him and helped her learn what she liked and slowly knock down her walls. This was a heartfelt read and highly recommend.
This book was a very heartwarming read. The story was well written and flowed really nicely. Lots of emotional and intense happenings. Each book in this series is a page turner. I voluntarily read and reviewed this book from an advanced reader copy.
What a fantastic read! I loved being back with these Fury guys and now we get the second generation…sweet! Q is so amazing! I loved him for Jules! These two had instant chemistry but because of circumstances Jules was afraid of it. I loved seeing her come around! Such a sweet story and of course you had plenty of action and intrigue! A wonderfully written story that just pulls at your heart! Absolutely loved it and very highly recommend! Just a warning that there is domestic assault involved. I am voluntarily leaving an honest review for this complimentary copy of this book
I loved Q & Jules story. I couldnt put it down. Jules has had a rough past, she ran when it got too bad , ran smack into Q. Q took her in gave her protection even when she wouldn’t reveal why she ran but he did persist until he finally got through all of her barriers then it was too late. They were both goners totally in love with each other. I loved the emotion and feelings that was felt when reading their story. It wasn’t plain sailing though not in the slightest, both have baggage that needed attending to but once it was sorted we could breathe a sigh of relief that they could now live their lives together. I’m looking forward to reading more from the MC.
L. Wilder always knows how to bring heart tugs and romance in the most unexpected ways and shows readers just that in another top notch Satan Fury story Q!
Q was the loyal brother who fate for some reason kept from finding what he always wanted, someone to share his life with and to have his own family with outside of his Satan Fury brothers. This writer once again showed that what you see is not always what you get as a tough exterior hid a compassionate heart in Q. Jules had more than her fair share of hard knocks and was surrounded by almost impenetrable emotional walls. Her strength was apparent to everyone but herself as she bravely attempted to grab life by horns. Jules' struggle with her attraction to Q and her fears of trusting her gut feelings was touching and handled beautifully by Ms. Wilder. This was not an easy romance as past events colored Q and Jule's ability to easily embrace their attraction, but the steam was hot and always underlying their interactions.
Some difficult subject matter was handled bluntly yet tastefully by this author. The merging of past Satan's Fury members with the second generation was at times joyful and at other times bittersweet as beloved original members made way for the future of the club. Well placed action kept this story moving quickly and will keep readers glued to this story to the very end!
L. Wilder does exceptional suspense plots that elevate her romances to the next level. With wonderful fleshed out portrayals and touching romantic components her works are always intriguing and emotional. This writer's intuitive balance of good and bad shows her characters flaws while making them approachable. L. Wilder brings another Satan's Fury brother to the pages and her readers' hearts for a memorable ride!
*I was given an advanced copy. All opinions expressed are my own. * *While part of a series this book can be read as a stand alone, but for an overall enhanced reading experience reading the previous books in this series is suggested.*
I mean that is the best way to start why I love this book. We normally always just jump into a book where the woman is broke and later we find out the real reason why. But in this case we start off with how she became the way she is. You feel for Jules more than wonder how she became the way she is.
Q was the perfect mix of strength and Gentle for her. He pulled her up when she needed it with a bit of sass and no expectations. He wanted what he was seeing his Brothers have and he finally felt like he got it. Even when he was advised to just walk away, by more than just Jules.
This book shows that there might be the perfect one for everyone and you will binge read this and be upset that its over. So when you start it, set aside the time to read it because you wont want to put it down at all.
If I could give it 1000 stars I would. Leslie never disappoints!
This is the first book in the Satan’s Fury MC Second Generation and if the rest in this series is going to be anything like this book, I won’t be getting any sleep because this book drew me in from the get go and I couldn’t put it down.
Q was still looking for his one and only as all of his brothers had old ladies and children that were now grown. When he finally thought he might have found her she shuts him down immediately not even giving him a chance. It just so happened that Jules is on the run from her abusive ex and has been hiding for the last three years.
Q is going to have to work to get his woman especially after he finds out everything she has been through. These two were on fire especially once the walls started coming down. So many other things were going on with the club as well which made it exactly what I look for in my MC books.
This was heartbreaking/heartwarming book that I highly recommend!
Oh wow Leslie Wilder has done it again with another fantastic story with Santa's Fury MC and Q story. We thought he was going to find a happy ending but that wasn't meant to be, but now he sees a feisty woman who doesn't give him the time of the day but secretly watches his moves.will he be able to break down her walls and finally get his happy ending or will her past catch up with her and finally finish what he started? Jules has been physically abused by her own father and has scars to prove it and her own husband adds to them but when she escape the relationship and finds herself again and finds a man who truly cares for her will it be to late when her past shows up to end it all for good? This book is filled with suspense and action packed and chemistry and romance and heartbreak and so much more and finding the strength to break free.
When Q first sees Jules he likes what he sees unfortunately he feels she hates him but what she hates is he makes her feel for the first time in years. Jules past is still haunting her and impacting how she lives her life. Q is such a strong person and he will give the woman he falls in love with anything and everything. I loved this MC family so much. There is danger waiting around the corner. The chemistry between Q and Jules jumped off the page.
~~~~~~~~~~Julie's ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Review~~~~~~~~~~
Q is the ultimate sweet guy. Always thoughtful. Jules is scared. Her fear is ruling her but somehow Q has to break through. The past may be ever present but Jules knows she can’t live in it forever. ❤️❤️
This is the tenth book in the Satan’s Fury MC but also the first of the Second Generation. This is Q and Jules story told in dual POV. Oh how I loved going back to the Fury and visiting old friends and making new ones. Q and Jules have similar pasts, both had a craptastic deal in life. While Q was finally able to break free from his as a young adult, Jules went from the frying pan to the fire. Jules is very guarded but Q is very stubborn. These two couldn’t have been any more perfect for each other. Q’s patience and understanding helped Jules to heal and find herself after years of never being allowed to do so. I can’t wait for Ms. Wilder to bring more of the Fury back into my life! I can already tell it’s going to be an amazing ride!
I loved Q's story and once I started I had to keep turning the pages. Q was so sweet and patient with Jules. Jules left a domestic violent relationship not only with her husband but had a double whammy suffering at the hands of her father when she was younger. Leaving her with very low self-esteem and not worthy of anyone due to her past. Q is so patient and holds back as he wants her but doesn't want to rush things and chase her away. L Wilder gives you all the feels with this story. I received an arc to do my honest review for NNBB. If you love an MC romance with all the feels, mystery, and intrigue you will love this story. It was also a book hangover for me I found the book hard to put down.
Sooo… let me start off by saying it’s been too long since I’ve read Lauren’s and Flynn’s story because I had forgotten all about Q being into her. Which meant I needed to do a little research before I continued on with this one…. Q has never had a someone special. Come to find out, it’s because he’s been waiting for her. The woman who now works at Smokey’s and wont give him the time of day. Jules. Jules hasn’t had good life experiences with men. She’s done with them. Even sexy ones who she believes she might be able to trust. Done! But then she gets drunk and he takes care of her… one night spent as friends becomes more… I greatly enjoyed these two together!
I cannot tell you how much I love second gen books - especially in the MC world. Satan’s Fury is one of my favorite MC series and to see the kids all growing up is amazing. Q and Jules are the amazing staring couple of this book. The way Q cares for and loves Jules - I wish this for every person who has been through what she has. The book has everything - great storyline, well developed characters, super smexy NSFW scenes and a ridiculously happy HEA. I LOVED it!!!!
