This is the fourth book in the Girls' Night In series which I edited with my friends, novelists Chris Manby and Fiona Walker - followed by Maggie Alderson, Imogen Edwards-Jones and Nick Earls. Later on, more novelists joined us for an American edition. This is the Australian edition with a cover designed by Anna Johnson. Our British version was very 'ladette' and it takes be back to all those wine-filled nights in Camden, London talking about who we could get on board...and how to lure them. Of course, everybody did it for nothing, in aid of the charity War Child, just around the corner in Kentish Town. So, this is more than just a review of some excellent stories about single life at a certain time (Chick Lit was it was known). It's personal. I still love it and read it often. Even if I didn't know the writers involved, I'd still love these tales of love gone wrong (and sometimes right)...

Really liked some of the stories, others not so much. Giving it 4 stars though as the whole enterprise is for a worthy cause.
