Sarah and her husband of what he calls “many long, long years” live on the mid-Atlantic coast with their six young children, all of whom are perfectly adorable when they’re asleep. She never dreamed of becoming an author, but as a homeschooling mom, she often jokes she writes fiction because if she wants anyone to listen to her, she has to make them up. (As it turns out, her characters aren’t much better than the kids). When not buried under piles of laundry, she may be found adrift in the Atlantic (preferably on a boat) or seeking that ever-elusive perfect writing spot where not even the kids can find her.

She loves creating unforgettable stories while putting her characters through an unkind amount of torture—a hobby that has nothing to do with living with six children. (Really.) Though she adores nail-biting mystery and edge-of-your-seat thrillers, Sarah writes in many genres including contemporary and ghostly paranormal romance. Her ever-growing roster of releases may be found on her website.

Can you go home again or did DJ Shadow get it wrong?

Molly hasn’t seen Jack in five years, and wasn’t quite prepared for his return. She remembers him as a cocky, womanizing playboy from school who nearly conned her into sacrificing her virginity. While she can’t say she’s thrilled to see him again, she likewise can’t deny the magnetic pull between them.

For a debut novel, Ms. Ballance has certainly set the bar high. Her characters are round and vivid, and her writing itself definitely stands apart. I rather liked the little resistance between Molly and Jack in the beginning—though Molly resented the hell out of Jack, she found herself easily drawn to him, even against her better judgment. Rather than make the conflict stem directly from the two leads, Ms. Ballance wisely went the alternative route of creating friction from exterior obstacles, be it the string of ex-loves in Jack’s past—one in particular determined to dig her claws in—or the fight over the property Molly calls home.

With rich characters and a set conflict, this is one you can barely stand to put down. Ms. Ballance is an intensely promising new talent, and I eagerly await her next work.

A love story that stretched over five years has fate brought them back together?
Love the cover , I am a cover love kinda gal !! and this one definetly delivers the goodies, it not whats in the outside they say,, but what was the inside certainly counts. I was not dissapointed.

Five years have passed and Jack Gellar has returned to his home town of Jefferson heights. Molly has just lost her whole family and is going to loose the farm her family has treasured and life is not as sweet as she would like it to be. Then Jack returns- sending Molly's world in an emotional turmoil, his betrayl still stuck with her, but the attraction is magnetic.

After a turn of events Molly is unsure who to trust, someone that draws her in like honey to a bee, will she put her heart, her home and her life on the line to be with the one she has waited for ?

Or will other circumstances and Jack's betrayl keep them apart ?

A beautifully woven love story, with sensual romance, and loving. The attraction between Jack and Molly was electrying and defently magnetic. I love a good love story and this one had me sighing at the end in sheer delight. The plot was smooth, and fluent, characters well described and surroundings blended in well with the storyline.
The love story warms your insides and leaves you love struck. Jack is every girls dream- charming- sexy and out to show Molly that people can change - even for the better. Molly slightly intraverted, but Jack changes this and shows her what love is all about even making sacrifices.
Overal a wonderful Debut Novel - love story that will leave you with stars in your eyes, heart warm and a smile to get you through your day or night. I really enjoy Sarah's style of writng and look forward to more of her work ;)

You know the story....'the last thing the heroine needed in her life was...'

Well, when Jack Gellar comes back to town after five years, Molly Coleman tries to tell herself he's the last thing SHE wants to see because their last experience together ended in her hurt feelings; however, her heart doesn't agree and old, sweet feelings are rekindled. Being together once more on their old stomping grounds brings back the warm, comfortable feelings of their close friendship and attraction.

I won't divulge the story, but plenty of obstacles stand in the way of reuniting, the major one being that Molly is about to lose everything she owns---her business, her family home. And Jack Gellar, of all people, is the only one who holds the key to saving it all for her. Molly is on the verge of accepting his help, his proposed love when scandal threatens to tear thing apart, threatens to send their friendship 'down in flames'.

This is a comfortable, sexy romance---sort of mix of old baseball hats, flannel shirts and lace. Masculine and feminine sensuality combined to make a reader tingle.

And, at the heart of it all, a tender, believable romance.

If the love of your life, who broke your heart, walked back into your life at one of the worst times in your life, would you welcome him back into your arms? This story follows such a line, with a few added plot twist, that make you wonder if the characters will have their happily ever after, or lose the one that could make them happy. The characters are realiztic, they're stubborn, and yet want to protect their loved one, laugh a little, play a little and work at overcoming what life throws their way. This story melts the heart, curls the toes and makes you wonder about second chances, forgiving people, and the experience that life has to give.

I'm not a big romance reader but I love this author's witty way of writing. She paints a clear picture of her story with her eloquent style and I love that. Great read.
