Veteran flight attendants Corylee Spiro and Elizabeth Harwell have winged their way through the wackiest turbulence since the Wright brothers--even when grounded. And it's high-altitude hilarity when they tell the plane truth about air travel.

As the daughter or a pilot and a flight attendant I have heard a fair share of stories but oh my Lord these opened my eyes even more. The world of flight is wild, wonderful and wacky and if you want a better understanding of the people that work together to get you to and from your destination, you want to read this book. Beware: you may face some gruesome truths that what you do as a passengers is more noticeable than you think!

This book is sometimes hilarious, sometimes serious, always readable. This is a bit dated, but is still timely enough that this book should be mandatory reading before you fly. It's written by two flight attendants, so that gives you a hint about the anecdotes you'll read. Some of them made me howl with laughter.

Definitely one of my re-reads.

Just laugh out loud funny! I'm a flight attendand, not stewardess, thank you, and can definitely relate. Every day is different and you never know what to expect~~from the industry & Certainly from the People. They capture that perfectly! Do yourself a favor & take it on your next flight. I promise your trip will go better! It was written long ago and I read it long ago, but it is still relavant today.
