The club started innocently enough. Bored after school, Josh and his friends decided to try out an old game Sabina had found in her basement. Called "Black Magic," it promised the players good fortune at the expense of those who have wronged them. Yeah, right.
But when the club members' luck starts skyrocketing―and horror befalls their enemies―the game stops being a joke. How can they end the power they've unleashed? Answers lie in an old diary―but ending the game may be deadlier than any curse.
This was a pretty interesting book from the begging. What I most like from this book is how it was able to develop and catch me as a reader in its short extension. This was a book that I think the extension was the correct one because if any longer, I would just keep repeating. I do felt frightened by reading some stuff and I would specially recommend this to people who do not have the time to read a very lengthy book and want to pass a good time reading this "scary" book.

The Club is about a group of teenagers Josh, Jackson, Sabina, and Dan. Josh just moved from New York and was new to Bridgewater High. He noticed Sabina when he first started going to Bridgewater. One of the days at lunch Josh bumped into Sabina and they started to hit it off she offered both Josh, Jackson and Dan to go over to her house after school so they can hangout she also told them she found a board game in her basement that looked like it involved witchcraft. They ended up going over but once Josh went into her basement it made him uncomfortable. Sabina got the board game and ended up telling everyone how she thinks how to play. There were these spell cards and a paper that had explained " Think of the people that have wronged you. You will reverse the force of evil and send good spirits away." The teens ended up thinking about the names of the people that have done them wrong. Slowly that is when things started to change.
