When she was 12-years-old, she became an avid reader of romance by sneaking her mother's stash of Harlequin and Silhouette novels. In the 90s, she was introduced to African American and multicultural romance novels and her life hasn't been the same since.
While she had always been a reader of romance, she didn't feel inspired to write them until the genre opened up to include other voices. And even then, it took finishing graduate school, several non-fiction publications, and a six-week course at the Loft Literary Center titled Writing the Romance Novel; before she gathered the courage to start writing her first romance novel.
Gwyneth has a BA and an MA in English/Creative Writing and a Ph.D. in English/Composition and Rhetoric. She teaches classes in writing and women's studies at the college level.
She has won several awards for her romance novels, including four Emma Awards and the Romance In Color Reviewer's Choice award for new author of the year. When she is not teaching or working on her own African American romance novels, she is curled up with a cup of herbal tea, a warm quilt, and a good book.

Karen and Darius first meet each other when he trying to persuade her to let him volunteer at her community center. Karen is a little wary about Darius at the beginning but she soon lets her guard down when she is around him and really sees him for the man he truly is. The more time that they spend together the more you can see the chemistry between the both of them. There is one person who is willing to do whatever it takes to try to keep them apart but is their love enough to get them through this. I thought this was a great read and I did not want to put it down at all. I really enjoyed Darius and Karen’s characters. I am so looking forward to the next book from this author.

A favorite of mine. Love the Hip-Hop reference and the vivid language that allows a Black woman to know love, fully.

The only thing that Karen Williams had on her mind was making sure that everything at the Shemar Sunyetta Youth Center, named after her deceased best friend, continued to run. Full of optimism, determination and desire, Karen was ready to take on each day and challenge. Gwyneth Bolton's novel, Make It Last Forever, takes Karen on a journey that she was destined for.
After spending the day helping a friend pack, Karen meets her neighbor, Dicey "Divine Stamps, fortune-teller extraordinaire. Dicey has been trying for months to read Karen's palm and to tell her about the handsome stranger that will come into her life. But Karen does not believe any of it until Darius Rollins walks into the center. Darius, aka D-Roc, is the hottest rapper/actor in Hollywood. Darius decides that he wants to volunteer in the neighbor where he grew up and he wants to honor the memory of his recently deceased cousin. After shaking hands, Darius and Karen had a feeling that they knew each other. Karen was not like anyone he had ever met and Darius knew that she was the woman he wanted to spend forever with.
Just when you think you know Gwyneth Bolton, she throws you a curve and she gives her readers an exciting and different love story. Bolton takes readers on a journey into the past lives and loves of Karen and Darius to show readers the strength of their connection. She also added a tad-bit of a mystery to the story to heighten the anticipation of the next page. Bolton, in my opinion, is sure to gain new fans with this story.

SIMPLY beautiful...I could NOT put it down....this story TOTALLY gives true meaning to the term SOUL MATES...the characters are entertaining and UNFORGETTABLE...and the storyline is INTRIGUING and keeps me turning the pages...Mrs. Bolton throws in quite a few SURPRISING twists and turns...which makes the story even more CAPTIVATING...and the chemistry between Darius and Karen is definitely OFF-THE-CHARTS...well done, Mrs. Bolton.

OMG!! I am literally speechless, to say I never saw this coming is an understatement. I never figured Mrs. B as a suspense romance writer, but wow she brought her A game to the table and delivered in spades! Well done. Oh and yeah this definitely goes on my "re-read" list. And I am not one who is into that woo-woo stuff, LOL.

If you believe in soul mates, past lives, and Deja vu this is definitely the book for you. Two souls who keep finding each other in different periods of time it just takes your breath away. I would love to read sequel to this book to see how Karen and Darius's story progresses.
