I have read the Secrets and Lies books multiple times over and over. I love all the boys and when I found out there would be extra short stories about them all I was so pleased. Such a great read that I didn’t want to end. Love these books

Loved this Short Story giving us more of Cal, its made me wanna read the Secrets and Lies series again.
BJ Alpha never disappoints giving us more of the Characters we have all come to love.
I cannot await for Reece's book.

Cal and Lily

Love getting a snippet into Cal and Lily’s life again. Albeit, they way the cave with their kids is a nightmare waiting to happen. Look forward to more.

3.5 stars. It was good, and I loved seeing the glimpse into their life. The end gave me many questions. However, I did read this after just reading Cal and none of the other books, so maybe you find out the answer in one of those books? I will be reading the other books and probably wait to read the corresponding short stories until after I have read all the brothers' books!

Quick novella on Cal’s family and a family I haven’t forgotten. They got the strangest kids ever. Who names their cat, Pussy? Is this the one mafia book I laughed so much in (big book) and just enjoyed it.

This was a good sneak peak of Reese’s book to come with a teenager who is super quirky, beyond smart, and has ADHD.

This is very quick read, but just what I needed. Whenever Reece is around and there’s mention of his cat Pùşşy I always laugh. Poor Cal! All this man needed was to have his balls drained- his words, and all he got while trying to have alone time with Lily was interrupted!

First off, if you haven’t read The Secrets and Lies Series then you must!! The O’Connell brothers will steal your heart..This book is set after the events of the series. I loved catching up with Cal and his family in this 𝒮𝒽𝑜𝓇𝓉 𝒮𝓉𝑜𝓇𝓎! With a hectic lifestyle and two children, Cal and Lily are finding it more and more difficult to spend time together.

This wouldn’t be a BJ Alpha book without more secrets and lies sprinkled throughout this story.. Cal has his hands full with his son Reece who has been very secretive and three year old Chloe who basically runs the show 😂

There were so many funny moments and I just missed these characters so much! We get a snippet of a POV from Reece and what he’s been up to and and I cannot wait to see how that plays out in the 𝒻𝓊𝓉𝓊𝓇𝑒 …When Cal and Lily finally find time to be together … the spice in those scenes are everything!😮‍💨🤌 All in all amazing short story and I can’t wait to see what’s next from BJ Alpha!!

These are short stories that accompany the series. I guess these are the back stories or detailed love stories for the couples. I did not know or understand that going in, and I need to go back and read the actual novels because these short stories were enjoyable.

I’m already a huge fan of the entire Lies & Secrets series, to top it all off Cal was the first one I fell for. So this was a top priority to read as soon as it released. I will say I felt everything he felt in his “needy situation” since I personally have experienced being interrupted from my own little cock blockers. I was laughing during the baby powder incident & don’t even get me started on Chloe with the dang scissors. I absolutely loved this short novella & resonated with it so much especially at the end when Lily asked the famous question my own husband fears. I recommend this entire series, you preferably need to read the series first to understand some characters that make a small appearance, but BJ Alpha is amazing & you will be addicted!

I didn’t realise how much I’d missed this family until I read this short story today.

It’s from the Secrets and Lies world that BJ has previously wrote 5 books for and this is the first of the short stories that we are getting for each of the brothers.

Cal is desperate to get some alone time with Lily, but with Chloe and Reece they get very little.

I think the biggest thing I have missed has been Reece and as much as the book is about Cal and Lily, I just think Reece steals the show!

Be sure to read the previous books in this series and then dive in!

I finished this Novela after reading Cal. I have not read the rest of the series yet, but plan to with in this next week. I loved it. It made me laugh. Especially the scenes with the scissors. The situations BJ rights for these kids are just freaking gold. She has me on a little bit of a cliffhanger here because now I wanna know who she’s talking about at the end of the book so I’m gonna go read the other ones to see if there’s mentions of any other characters so I can tie this together because it’s obvious she’s going to write in the series and I can’t wait for it.

I absolutely love Cal but also want to ring his neck at time... He is such a great dad but he also has to try to find that fine line of parenting and friend. He doesn't want to let Reece go because I think of him missing so much of his childhood now he doesn't want him to grow up. Even though he's 18 he still sees him as the little more. And omg lily and cal definitely have their hand full with Chloe. I thought for sure when Lily asked about another baby he'd stroke right there...lol

It was so good being back in the secrets and lies world. I loved that we got a bit more of Cal and Lily and their life together. I always love when we get more glimpses into the O’Connell brothers and what’s happening in their lives.

This had the typical hilarious moments that always comes when Reece is involved. But also more secrets that leave you desperately wanting more!

I absolutely love everything BJ writes and this was no exception. Can’t wait for the others.

"Reece Takes the Spotlight: An Endearing Short Story of Love, Laughter, and Anticipation"

This was one of my absolute favorites in this series even tho I loved them all! I really enjoyed getting a little short story about where they are now and I cannot wait for the other’s stories. That ending tho I need more about Reece I am patiently waiting. Reece is my favorite character he is hilarious.

Absolutely fantastic read!!
I love reading about characters lives after their HEA and Cal is no different. Watching this badass surviving the turmoil of everyday life, like the rest of us was both funny and comforting.

Every time I read a book about this family it always brightens me up.

The brothers family’s are so funny, I don’t know how they deal with their kids sometimes.

I love how much it shows the love the guys have for their woman and how much they want them.

I’m excited for when Reece’s story eventually comes.
