Edith Sitwell is cuntie and cute, and Alexander Pope is sort of an incel.

Sitwell describes present poets as "moral quack doctors" who promulgate their phony virtue in "blighted" and "shriveled" forms. With their "moronic cacklings," the Surrealists aren't superior.

Like Nicholas J Fuentes, Alexander Pope was a "strange little boy." He "reverenced great men throughout his life" and "defended them with fire and vigor." He liked girls, but as a "crippled hunchback," he never married or had a girlfriend. He told one girl, "My friendship is too warm and sincere to be trifled with." Boys called him a "downright monkey" and accused him of scandalous actions, but Pope clapped back with the Dunciad, which was "punishment for the Dunces."

Extremely idiosyncratic life of Pope by one of the less eccentric members of Bloomsbury set. More interesting for what it says about Sitwell and her social/cultural world than anything she has to say about Pope.

An interesting journey into Alexander Pope's life and work, I've certainly enjoyed it, Since I am a huge fan of this tiny God of poetry :)
