Anyone who loves the west will benefit from this book. It is filled with information and so well written. I am 4th generation Montanan and love my state. This book filled my heart, I love history, I love Montana History and wish this was the text book for Montana History in schools. So much information but so well written and enjoyable.
Highly recommend! I will loan this out BUT will always want a copy on my book shelf. Chapter 7, is so wonderful and spoke so openly to me! Will look for more of Carlene Cross's work!
