This is a fantastic little book. The layout is well designed and the author clearly and concisely introduces major themes in chess tactics without overwhelming the reader with inappropriately rigorous analysis. This edition never strays from its intended reader and that is an excellent quality for a chess book to have, unfortunately, it is also a rare one.
I highly recommend this book to anyone who has ever struggled to know the difference between a deflection and a decoy or to anyone just getting started learning tactics. This edition is clean, clear, and concise. What else could you possibly want?
