The title lives up to it's name. As we go into an age where XML becomes the standard, it is important to have this version (which is quite large but full of information) of the XML (this also covers it's myriad transformations including MusicXML, MathXML and many others).
It is very user friendly but quite advanced at the same time. The scripts are actually accurate, which is rare in many of these texts.
