DNF at page 64.
Although the diet sounds okay, and largely concurs with my own opinions about nutrition, I cannot implement (and therefore try) the suggested routine in my current workplan.
Will probably coe back to this later.

"glucose is the fuel your body needs to keep going, but when unbalanced eating drops blood glucose levels below a certain point, your body responds with an uncontrollabel food craving, usually a cardo-laden, sugary treat.

This method didn't strike a chord with me. The author is right that avoiding blood sugar lows will keep cravings away, and she makes it sound simple. However, there's an awful lot to keep track of...eat within 30 minutes of getting up, planned hard chew/soft chew snacks within certain time periods, certain combinations of food at certain meals. I felt like I'd be thinking about food all day long. The descriptions of former clients got a little annoying after awhile. To be fair, I think this plan would work for many people, it just wasn't for me.

I successfully applied the majority of principles in this book and lost 100 lbs over the course of 11 months. It DOES work! I tailored it to fit ME, and adjusted eating habits, included a workout program adapted to my life and physical issues, and it definitely works. I've seen folks pick it apart - that's fine. All I can speak to is how it worked for ME. IT DID. Anyone can find fault with any "program;" but in my mind, I get out of something what I put into it. I used my brain, knew my body, and I made it work - painlessly.

I found this at my parents house so I picked it up to read it. She is very sloppy about how you would follow this diet and really tailors it to people that she personally see's in a professional setting...South Beach would be way easier to follow and is realistic
