Well-researched, gracefully and engagingly written, confidently argued essay on British and American Symbolist poets--the minor writers all new to me. What could make this essay better? Turn it into an introduction to an anthology of these minor writers. Based on the strength of Caples's essay, I'd buy it in a flash.
