Haru Kaidou a vécu jusqu'à l'âge de 8 ans au Canada avec sa mère avant de partir vivre avec son père au Japon. Plusieurs années ont passé et alors qu'Haru est maintenant âgé de 17 ans, celui-ci reçoit un message dans lequel il apprend que sa mère est sur le point de mourir. Décidé à revoir celle-ci une dernière fois, il part pour le Canada et découvre non seulement que sa mère est en bonne santé mais que celle-ci a adopté un jeune garçon âgé de 8 ans nommé Ren. Haru rencontre donc son nouveau petit frère et va vite comprendre qu'il ne va pas être facile de s'entendre avec lui. En effet, Ren est un jeune garçon sauvage qui déteste les humains à cause d'un traumatisme qu'il a subi quelques années auparavant ... Haru se voit donc confier la difficile tâche de civiliser Ren ... Au fur et à mesure du temps les deux vont se rapprocher progressivement ... Mais cela sera-t-il suffisant ? Vont-ils réussir à devenir une famille ?

I am loving a manga series which I really shouldn't. Oh, but I am so glad I am loving it.
This series is built on a plot in which the relationship develops between a guy and his adopted younger brother. And I don't know why we are all okay (including the characters in the manga). And I do worship the anime adaptation of this series!
And I do rewatch the series from time to time.
*You might find the relationship as disgusting as much you want. But I love this series so bad, specially after watching the adapted anime. I will always love this series💋

But also
*The characters are developed so well.
*The plot stands strong since the very beginning. It is what it is. Totally unapologetic.
*Much more than the romance, it's the personalities of the characters that stands out in the entire series. It's not at all about some fluffy romance or some forbidden relationship. It's more than that. It's the emotion, the sentiments, the love and care, the inevitable circumstances, the independent personalities, the acceptance, how one family is different from others and how we will never understand what's going on in the lives of others.
*The main characters are unique.
*If this was one manga just for the sake of forbidden boylove romance, I would not have liked it.

ahhh finished. Thanks to Patricia I am finally resuming this series. See how I forget about these things? *sighs*
Gaahhh! Everything was cute! I don't even know how to explain it. There was a bit of a conflict between Haru and Ren and well....I guess you can say they are still....well it is complicated. (Wow, I sound like those typical relationship people..."it is complicated" xD). But seriously, it is.
I don't even know why when I read this I get giddy and happy. As you can see from my updates that I was kind of too loud for 1am so my sister shushed me. I was squealing and giggling too loud. XD
I just want them to get together!
Plus in this volume it was revealed that there was a woman in Haru's life that he cared for. This is a VERY interesting development. Can't wait to see more. ;) And ah, look at the time. 1:30am, guess I have to read volume 3 some other time.
And by the way, can some GR librarian add volume 4 and 5 to GR? I think I need to mark them as "read" soon. ;)

Da ich schon den ersten Band der "Super Lovers" Reihe gelesen habe, war ich neugierig auf den zweiten Band und wollte diesen unbedingt lesen. Der Zeichenstil war dabei wieder sehr schön, obwohl alles eher ins dunkle geht und mehr schwarz vorzeigt. Die Story an sich ist schön verständlich und auch tiefgründig. Der romantische Aspekt in der Story gibt es kaum, zumindest entwickelt es sich ziemlich langsam. Es ist eher eine realistische Story um ein Großen Bruder der sich um seine jüngeren Brüder kümmert. Der großteil der Story dreht sich auch um den jüngsten adoptiv Bruder Ren und den ältesten Bruder Haru. Ren ist wieder bei Haru, Aki und Shima und endlich ziehen alle vier Brüder zusammen. Haru versucht immernoch, alles für seine Brüder zu tun, auch wen seine Bedürfnisse zu kurz kommen. Anfangs scheint alles harmonische zu laufen, doch eines Abends eskaliert die Gemeinschaft. Den es kracht gewaltig bei Ren und Haru.
Ich habe die Charakter schon ab dem ersten Band schnell ins Herz geschlossen. Obwohl mir die Zwillingsbrüder Shima und Aki etwas Naiv erschienen und auch etwas sehr verwöhnt. Doch das bessert sich in diesem Band und sie akzeptieren das Ren nun ihr jüngerer Bruder ist. Aber man merkt das sie noch etwas Eifersüchtig sind, den Haru hat mehr Augen für Ren und nicht für die zwei.
Ren ist schon erwachsener geworden und ich finde, das er sich mit jedem Band verändert. Er hat sich extrem entwickelt, vom naiven kleinen jungen, der am liebsten das macht was er will, zu dem Jugendlichen, der jetzt auch an die anderen denkt und auf einen hört.
Haru ist immernoch der gleiche Haru geblieben. Er hat seinen Job aufgegeben um bei seinen Brüder zu sein. Auch hat er von seinem ersparten ein Haus gekauft und denkt jetzt dran, einen eigenen Laden zu eröffnen. Ich hätte mir bei Haru etwas mehr gewünscht, das er auch mal an seine Bedürfnisse denkt. Vielleicht mal eine Frau finden, zu Dates gehen oder was man eben in seinem Alter macht. Deswegen kann ich nicht so ganz nachvollziehen wieso er jede Sekunde seiner Zeit bei seinen Brüdern sein will.
Man merkt also schnell, das jeder Charakter seine Ecken und Kanten hat und diese auch authentisch und tiefgründig sind. Leider muss ich auch zugeben das die Dialoge zwischen den Charakter meist verwirrend waren. Ich musste manchmal nochmal lesen um zu wissen, wann wer wie wo gesprochen hat. Trotzdem muss ich sagen das die Manga Reihe eine schöne Reihe ist, mit einer schönen Geschichte. Ich bin schon sehr gespannt wie es in Band 3 weitergeht.

Em baixo del tren, ha vençut la impaciència i el rebuig per sobre de la curiositat. No m'acostumo ni a l'estil d'il·lustració, les vinyetes repletes de text, la relació tan estranya i ambigua entre els protagonistes, l'age gap que em sembla abismal (entre altres coses per com d'infantil es representa el Ren) i la manca de rumb en la trama. Em va cridar l'atenció que aquesta sèrie encara estigui en publicació i entre els més venuts, suposo que el factor slow burn crea molta addicció, però jo no puc més ^^'

Der Zeichenstil ist recht düster, detailreich aber dennoch relativ weich und passt damit perfekt zum Inhalt. Anfangs hatte ich so meine Schwierigkeiten in die Geschichte hineinzukommen, da es recht verwirrend war. Aber als ich dann einmal den Überblick hatte, war ich mega angefixt.
Ansonsten ist der Erzählstil toll, es gibt viel Text und man bekommt einiges an Input.
Protagonisten
Haru sorgt sich schon immer sehr um seine Brüder, denn Familie bedeutet alles für ihn. Zudem ist er sehr verantwortungsbewusst, sauber und ein guter Koch.
Ren hingegen ist ein echter Wildfang, stur und alles andere als umgänglich. Es lässt vermuten, dass dies auf seine Vergangenheit zurückzuführen ist, an die er sich jedoch nicht erinnert.
Fazit
Ich finde ja immer mehr, dass der Titel irgendwie nicht zum Inhalt passt. Meiner Meinung nach hat die Geschichte einen hohen Slice of Life Anteil. Ich persönlich mag das wirklich gern, da mir die Charaktere bereits ans Herz gewachsen sind. Aber ich habe da auch so eine Schwäche für ernste, emotionslose Typen in Manga, so wie Ren es ist.
Die Folgebände sind bestellt und ich bin sooooo gespannt, wie es wohl weitergehen mag.

October 30, 2024I quattro fratelli si trasferiscono nella nuova casa, Ren continua a mantenere un carattere solitario anche a scuola, a parte il compagno di classe Kurosaki con cui scambia qualche parola.
Si presenta a casa una amica di Haru che scopre del nuovo rapporto intimo tra lui e Ren.
La ragazza non sembra esserne contenta e avverte Ren che si sta per fare viva una ex di Haru.
Haru e Ren in questo volume accudiscono un cagnolino, ormai "orfano" del padrone che ormai non c'è più.
La parte più interessante è sicuramente il finale, i due discutono sulla natura del loro rapporto, si sentono confusi e Ren chiede, probabilmente per non illudersi troppo, di non avere più attenzioni del dovuto da Haru. Entrambi sono ambigui, gelosi reciprocamente e indisposti a trattarsi solo come fratellastri (come per l'esigenza dei baci e del dormire insieme).
Si presenta a casa una amica di Haru che scopre del nuovo rapporto intimo tra lui e Ren.
La ragazza non sembra esserne contenta e avverte Ren che si sta per fare viva una ex di Haru.

Ren si è definitivamente trasferito in Giappone con Haru e i suoi fratelli adottivi e i quattro vivono tutti insieme in una nuova casa. Ren inizia il liceo, Haru si occupa dell'apertura di un nuovo locale e per questo non sta accanto al suo fratellino come vorrebbe e questo lo allontana da Ren. Mi piace il rapporto tra i due anche se è molto complicato e non del tutto "spiegato"; forse perché verrà trattato in seguito ed è anche particolare (per qualcuno forse scandaloso) ma sincero senza dubbio e vorrei che venisse approfondito perché loro due insieme mi piacciono tanto.

La manera en la que la relación de Ren y Haru va evolucionando es muy rápida pero al ser tan bien contada parece que pasa muchísimo tiempo entre capitulo y capitulo.
Los gemelos se van ganando un espacio con su mentalidad y disposición a entender todo lo que pasa.
De verdad es demasiado cursi y muy ambivalente esa relación de los protagonistas pero aun así es fácil quedarse con ganas de leer más.
Necesito que Ren crezca rápido, a veces recuerdo la diferencia de edad entre ellos y que descoloca un poco.

Ich bin immernoch nicht begeistert von dem Manga. Die Story hat sich etwas entwickelt aber ich blicke leider bei den Charakteren nicht so durch wie ich gerne möchte. Mal abgesehen davon das ich die Beziehung zwischen Ren und Haru immernoch sehr komisch finde.

Ch. 4 - 6. Haru quits his job as a host to live with all of his brothers under one roof, Ren starts school in Japan and makes a friend. Just as I was going to write off the entire volume as filler fluff, the last chapter happens. Haru is starting a cafe and brings in an old friend to partner with. She brings up Haru's past relationship to Ren, which makes him question his relationship with Haru. Ren is a little serious adult trapped in a child's body. Haru gets drunk while thinking about his past and gets into a big argument with Ren about Haru's motivations for all the recent changes. Drunk Haru is very different from his normal, generous, kind self. He turns dark and self centered. So while drunk he forces himself on Ren and doesn't listen to Ren when he tells him to stop. This made me cringe because Haru hurt Ren and himself. I really enjoyed the last chapter, the first two were forgettable.

Highly recommend reading this manga.
Potential Spoilers:
While it is a yaoi, the scenes are not explicit and are more adorable and cute than anything else. If you are expecting a pornographic yaoi, this is not the manga for you. Luckily, this manga is full of cute, romantic moments and just the perfect amount of affection. I have read several other yaoi and this is by far my favorite. I highly suggest it for anyone who is curious about boy to boy.

This was great. I was pulled straight in from the first word. I loved the art style and the plot. Miyuki Abe seems to have a great talent at capturing my heart and making me want to binge read all the books.
