Nelma Jean Brysons home lies nestled in the mountains of her native western North Carolina. She has traveled extensively over the years and enjoys her hobbies of genealogical research and home improvement projects. She is the mother of four grown children and the grandmother of ten fantastic grandchildren who live in four states and are the reasons for many of her travels.

Ms. Bryson holds a graduate degree in Social Work from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Her continued studies include foreign languages, music, and spiritual diversities.

Having the same disorders as Ms. Bryson, I felt a sort of "kinship" with her as she told her story. These invisible disorders and diseases need more attention so that patients, like us, can get the help we deserve.
