so now we know - at least what if not why things are happening - the question is now how can those forces out there trying to stop things from escalating really success - they know little of the facts and seem to be blocked at every turn.

Mix these events with explosive action you have the makings of a race to end - where really who know what will happen.

I will admit that I did struggle at times to recognise some characters as the were presented in very similar styles but this was really only a minor issue - especially when their actions pretty much described who they were

It still looks great, it is still a really interesting concept but volume 2 was still cut up too much and so never really flows.

I admire the intellectual rigour and uncompromising attitude of the writer but it was still not flying for me, its a shame and may be my failure rather than that or the writer.

I have another volume to read and I'm hoping it clicks on the next one. For the moment then it feels like a whole load of potential that does not quite come to fruition.

I gave the first volume three stars because even though it was overly talky it had an interesting premise. This second volume is even worse. Endless meetings discussing inter-party Nazi politics and very few scenes about the supernatural being with the power of mind control who should be at the heart of this story. The art is very good, if a bit laid back but the pacing is slow as a snail.

The story gets its pace slowed in this volume, trying to show more of one of the groups of characters rallying in this back and forth intel war during WWII. Cassaday's art keep making this enjoyable, but slow nontheless.
