'Wayfarers to God' (Ma'alim as-Suluk) is a translation of a series of Arabic lectures given at Al Zayed University for Women, in the United Arab Emirates. Equally relevant to men and women, these lectures will accompany and support the reader on their own journey to God.

"At the very moment that you are reading these words, you may recognise that the Fashioner and Shaper is in fact calling you to His precincts. He is sending you words like these so you may approach Him and do so with longing. What approaching God and seeking His presence means is that Al-Haqq (The True One) has placed within the heart of His servant, within your heart, an impulse and an eagerness to approach Him, a yearning to be near Him, and a fear of Him which make you reflect upon your state with God. Thus you may realise that God has created you from nothingness and has honoured you with all kinds of munificence and generosity, and that He has distinguished you and placed the universe at your service"

الكتاب رائع ، لم يسبق لي أن قرأت شيئاً في الروحانيات والرقائق وتزكية النفس فكان لي بادئاً و نعم البادئ.
أسلوب الكاتب مريح جداً، ولكن في فصول أمهات أمراض القلوب ضاقت بي نفسي لأنه تكلم في دقائق النفس وشعرت أني أحمَل فوق طاقتي ولكني عدت فارتحت وأيقنت أن هذا الشعور واجب علينا لتزكية نفوسنا.
من إيجابياته أنه غير كثيراً من مفاهيمي و صححها وأُعجبت بطريقته في المناقشة و الإقناع جزاه الله كل خير.
نقدي الوحيد للكتاب أنه ليس موجهاً لجنس دون آخر كما يقول العنوان ! كان من الأفضل أن يكون العنوان شاملاً كي لا يُحرَم الذكور من فوائده الجميلة.

An English translation of a series of lectures Habib Al Jifri gave to UAE students on journeying towards Allah SWT via deeds, actions and choosing what to focus on. Very detailed and full of practical advice. The best part is Habib's friendly demeanor shines through out the book, courtesy of the excellent translation. A book to be read as a whole or dipped in and out off. Recommended.

Aku tak baca buku ini tapi aku baca buku kritikannya. Buku kritikan ini berjudul ‘ ke mana arahmu, habib ali al jufri’, yg di tulis oleh habib dr khaldun makki alhasani. Aku ternampak buku ni di halaman al-syariah research and development, yg di kongsikn dr rozaimi.

Aku dah cuba cari betul ke buku ini di tulis oleh habib ali aljufri, nk sabitkn buku ini kpd dia dlu baru la kita dpt tahu teguran ini boleh di terima atau tidak. Sandaran kpd habib ali, secara peribadi aku tak jmpe drpd official website habib ali (alhabibali.com). Tp penulis berkali-kali nyata habib ali mempromosikn buku ini kpd semasa ceramah2nya jadi aku letakkn kesahihan buku ini kpd penulis, sbb aku mmg tak jmpe sandaran kpd habib ali melainkn drpd goodreads.

Kalau betul sandarannya kpd habib aljufri, bermakna ada keparahan beliau terhadap byk perkara dalam agama. Boleh di persilakn baca, aku ada pdf terjemahan. Akhir kata habib bknlah maksum, mereka pon manusia yg mempunyai khilaf dan kesalahan.

لا يمكن ان انكر ان هذا الكتاب يضم افكار جميلة وقيم عاليه وروحانيه الحبيب تتجلى في مواضع كثيرة فيه ولكن اعتقد انه يحتاج الى خلفيه دينية قويه فهو يتحدث عن الصوفية بتصوف كبير ويعرج على اشكاليات عقائديه وهناك في هذا المجال كتب متميزة اكثر
