An author of series fiction for young readers, Ann Bryant was educated at the Royal College of Music, and worked for a number of years as a music teacher. She has also written for various BBC Schools Radio programmes, and composed the theme and incidental music for BBC TV's Tales of Aesop series.
Rose can't keep from being distracted it seems, once a boy comes to class. Now she's goofing off, trying to impress him, and forgetting entirely why she's there. This frustrates not just her friends, but her teachers as well.
This one I didn't like as much, mostly because I found Rose annoying. Still, it's a solid book and was an enjoyable read in the end.
It will teach you even if a boy comes into your ballet class not to laugh at him and if his friends don't know. Don't tell that he does it and just keep it a seceret to you.
