This was more of a cute story than an erotic story and for that reason it rated a four. The story was good but I expected erotic.

a girl and a guy relationship where the guy -after two years- is at a stand-still, the girl thinks this is it for her and preparting to move away with him until her roommate has an intervention with her that opens her eyes. This is the only part in the book that could have been labeled erotic but it was tiny moment. after that moment she realizes she deserves more and her and the guy break up. Then Jake enters scene – the attraction between these two has been building for ten years and now .. finally they will act on it. End of story.

This was one of the first books I discovered in literotica back in 2008ish. I enjoyed this book a lot, as I associate it with my younger years, when I first discovered romance story sites! I still love reading Vivien Vincent and sometimes will look at her literotica page to see if she's still posting her stories on there! If I remember correctly, she also wrote the story called White Mouse Trash, another book I also happened to enjoy but can't seem to find traces of anywhere, for free or purchase.

very one dimensional characters and a predictable storyline. the sex wasnt all that hot and everything else felt a bit soap operaish.
