About the author

C.T. Furlong grew up in Co Wicklow, Ireland, and studied Science at Carlow Institute of Technology, and promptly forgot most of it. After traveling in Europe, working in the music business in London and in the fashion business in Antwerp, a childhood love of adventure stories, coupled with the long-neglected interest in science, resulted in the creation of The ARCTIC6. She is married with two young children and currently lives in the remote wilds of Suffolk.

Furlong's second book in the ARTIC6 Adventures will appeal to the young, and old alike. It's terrifying and contemporary, and easy to follow, even with a few scientific terms and references that anyone could understand. The crew's innocent camping trip leads them on a thrilling adventure they won't ever forget. And, their mission is to find a cure for a deadly virus that could rapidly spread worldwide. Wow! Sounds like movie, right? Readers will especially enjoy Bandit, the dog, who is a wonderful addition to the book. It's loaded with action, a few scary parts and sci-fi goodness which will keep you guessing till you reach the astonishing finish. I can't wait for ARTIC6's next awesome endeavor!
