About the author

Yvan Pommaux is a beloved children's book author in France who is known for his detailed research and illustration style. In 1995 he was awarded the prestigious Grand Prix de la Ville de Paris. Three schools have been named after him as a testament to the joy and educational appeal of his work for children. Theseus and the Minotaur is Pommaux's first book in English.

Llibre-àlbum de trama detectivesca amb un tracte molt "cinematogràfic" de les il·lustracions.
Un argument tant modern i recurrent es tornarà insòlit si, qui ens marca les pistes per anar resolent el cas, són les referències als contes de la literatura infantil més clàssica.

Aquest cómic m'ha sorprés gratament.
El detectiu Chatterton ha de resoldre tres casos, els cuals són coneguts per tots els lectors, ja que el que ha de resoldre són tres contes tradicionals.
La forma en què està narrat està ple de reminiscències cinematogràfiques que encaixen a la perfecció amb les històries.
