Broke, lost, and about to get my head bashed in. That’s when Christian Masters saves me. Who knew pretty boys could fight?
He’s gorgeous, tatted, and can beat up anyone on the planet. He rescues me and proceeds to make me feel like an idiot! So, snoozing on a public bus and waking up on the wrong side of town isn’t my finest hour, but who is he to judge? He’s just an elite cage fighter!
Turns out he’s also brilliant, the secret heir to a billion-dollar empire, and my boss’s new hotshot client. Whoops! I should stay professional.
But I can’t stop obsessing over those beautiful dark eyes. The same eyes that stare into my soul and make my legs weak. The same eyes that draw me into his bed. Crap. He makes me feel like a hormonal teenager…unless those hormones have another explanation….
Baby for my Grumpy Billionaire fue el que menos disfruté de la serie.

Baby for my Grumpy Billionaire de Cassandra Russell
Argumento:
This book made me so mad because the hero sucked. They first meet when she gets attacked out of his MMA gym and he blames her for it and calls her stupid. Even though all she did was end up in the wrong neighborhood. Then he ends up using her company for construction on a project. He has to meet with her for dinner for the project and after he talks with her he realizes she's not stupid though never actually apologizes and then they sleep together. Other than 1 other meeting at their office they have had no other interactions and she decides she's in love with him. He, on the other hand, leaves without saying goodbye and then doesn't talk to her for 2 whole weeks. Just goes radio silent to focus on a future fight. She finally has to contact him again for work and they realize she's probably pregnant at which point he blames her and calls her stupid again. I stopped reading when they met for breakfast after confirming the pregnancy and he basically says they'll have to be in each other's lives because of the baby and she felt warm and happy because of that. Like this man just completely ghosted her, treated her like shit, and never apologized and she was willing to accept that. I couldn't accept that and that was the point I had to DNF.
This book was also rounded out by some serious sexism with one of her coworkers supposedly sleeping with a lot of clients and the heroine calling her a slut. All in all 0/10 wouldn't recommend.

The main character/hero is a spoiled little rich boy who is selfish & unlikable. All of the women in the book were just stereotypes of women. I enjoy a well written surprise pregnancy novel bit this ain't it. There's alot of woman bashing & talk of being a "better woman" than another character instead of being a better person. There was a lot of little misogynistic comments throughout the book.
Since the official synopsis is missing, I'm quoting it below for other potential readers:

3.5 out of 5 stars
This was the first book of the author's that I've read but I don't think it will be the last. The synopsis gives you a good idea of what to expect from this story. Yes, Christian is an actual grumpy billionaire. For my own personal standards, I don't know if I would consider them enemies but though they are attracted to each other they certainly don't get along at first. & by surprise pregnancy, it means unexpected & not a secret that Megan is hiding from him. So, if you like the previously mentioned tropes, then this story may be for you.
Because of his father's death & his mom being injured, Christian is forced to take over his family's business that he wanted nothing to do with. Aside from handling his family's business, he continues his true passion of being an MMA fighter. He doesn't want anything to distract him from his goal, which is why he's grumpy when he meets Megan. There is mutual attraction but he makes assumptions about her & acts like a jerk. He does catch her off guard a couple of times with his attitude but she doesn't always let him get away with it. Like him, Megan isn't looking for a distraction as she's busy with finishing up school to become a physician's assistant & raising her teenage sister. However, they give in to their attraction resulting in a surprise pregnancy.
There could be times when you wanted Megan to be more assertive like when she was dealing with Daniel & Kristy, her unprofessional co-workers, but she wisely chose when she needed to stand up for herself & it was satisfying to read. & while she could be considered a bit starry eyed towards Christian in terms of her attraction towards him, I liked how she was also decisive once she thought about what she wanted to do regarding him. But, the things I liked most about her was her relationship with her sister & how she was responsible & focused to achieve her goal of becoming a physician's assistant.
Though Christian said a couple of things that you would've wanted him not to say, I still mostly liked him. He had moments of self reflection & a couple of times he did think about his assumptions being wrong. Also, while him being a grump wasn't the best, I could understand his dislike of having to run his family's business when all he wanted to do was focus on his MMA career. His relationship with his mom & how he cared for her helped to add to his likeability. However, what I liked most about him is how he tried denying his feelings for Megan yet would want to do things for her or would feel guilty about distancing himself from her.
I did think that it was a bit foolish of Megan to believe Kristy's claims about Christian, & she even acknowledges that Kristy is lying, but I get that she was done with Kristy's nastiness & her pregnancy hormones were also getting to her. Also, I think there could've been more build up in Christian's thoughts about his future because the decision that he made at the end was a bit surprising. I mean it was the best for his family & he said he accomplished what he wanted to but it seemed like an easy solution for him Finally, I would've liked this story more if at times it wasn't repetitive with the thoughts that characters had & the repeating of scenes but from the other character's pov. But, those things didn't stop me from enjoying the story nor thinking others would also like it.
Megan is working hard taking care of herself and her little sister. She gets so tired she falls asleep on the bus and ends up well beyond her stop. She ends up in a bad part of town with a knock on the head. She is rescued by the owner and patrons of a nearby MMA gym. To say she doesn't gel with one of the gentlemen there is putting it mildly. She recovers her wits a bit and leaves. Some time later she finds out the grump from the gym is her boss' hot shot new client. They are drawn together, even as he continues to be closed and grumpy. Soon, though, they find themselves in bed together. But nothing really changes with their relationship. Then there's the baby surprise Megan finds herself with? Can she convince Christian they should raise the baby together or will circumstances break them apart?
Good romance with good characters, simple but addictive 4.5 I really liked the start of the story that plunges Megan from the first chapter in a cycle of small problems that brought her Christian. However, I hesitated on my notation because I then found that the story was progressing slowly, before turning around again. The story of Megan and Christian becomes warmer, moving, with twists and turns, while remaining tender. It is a pleasant romance to read, with a fairly complex male character who does not always understand himself. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book
A wonderful story with great characters. Doesn't have it easy she works all day and also goes to school while taking care of her 15 year old sister. When she is attacked one night for being in the wrong neighborhood and at the wrong time, an angel of reason arrives in the form of Christian. That's the beginning of their journey together, and it doesn't come without some drama and twists and turns and a surprise. This was a fantastic story that you completely get lost in while reading.

This is my first book by this author and the synopsis made the book sound very suspenseful. I was right, I loved these characters. She doesn't have it easy the heroine works all day, takes night classes, and takes care of her teenage younger sister. On here way home from school she is attacked and Christian is at the right place at the right time. This is the beginning of their story which is very addicting. I thought it was a well written, story with its ups and downs, drama, and romance. I am glad I gave this author a chance.

When Megan falls asleep on the bus, she misses her stop and ends up at the last stop on the route having to walk back the three stops to get to where she needs to be but in doing so encounters some hoodlums. Christian and a few other fighters come to her rescue, and it starts them along a path that is filled with some intriguing turn of events. This heartwarming story will have you in Megan and Christian's corner as they navigate the course of their relationship to a happily ever after.

Megan is burning the candle at both ends trying to work to make enough to pay the bills while going to night school. She falls asleep on the bus on the way to work one morning and ends up in a bad part of town. Megan gets attacked outside of a fight club by a group of men wanting her messenger bag and is saved by Christian, Michael, and Anton who come out to fight off her attackers. This story is romantic, somewhat steamy, and ends in a HEA. Very highly recommended.
A wonderfully imaginative love story that brings two very deserving people from different worlds socially, and economically. The likelihood of them finding happiness together seems remote at best. Their awkward beginning, conflicting personalities, and different life goals seem to present immovable barriers to them finding happiness together! Luckily, Ms. Russell, has presented us with a realistic fairytale to enjoy! Enjoy!
This is a very sexy must read. Hot, Hot, Hot leading man and his lady love is comes with some ups and downs. I would highly recommend this book and this author. Many accolades to the Author, Cassandra Russell, you have become my new must have ever one of you books Author’s.
I love accidental pregnancy tropes. This book had that. I had never read this author and I wanted to see if it was good. It wasn’t horrible it was very very fast paced. And the spice was very mild. It reads more than half way through as angst and not knowing and then poof they are in HEA. I needed more story.
Christian happens to be in the right place at the right time. Which is where he meets Megan they later cross paths again at a dinner. Both are juggling a lot in their lives and with very little time for relationships. It was a short read of two people with extreme attraction to each other.
Thoroughly enjoyed this book. I'm a new reader to this author and am really enjoying these books so far. The characters are all so intriguing and I can't seem to put the book down once I start reading it.
Cute story. Not sure how she became pregnant as there was no mention of a second condom but multiple orgasms for both of them. Liked the ending and the mention of what happened with Anton Maya and Dwayne.

Grumpy is not the word I would use to describe the ML. He put himself first at every opportunity without really doing anything to earn the FL forgiveness for ghosting her for weeks.

I already had guessed from the blurb and title that this would be a surprise baby book with a fast-paced plot. However, I think the author was getting mixed up with her own created timeline, which I'll try to explain without spoiling. Starting from the night the deed was done we were told that it was 2 weeks until the big fight, however it was then later said that it had been 2 weeks since they slept together and no fight had occurred. To add to it Megan mentioned that her symptoms started a week after 'that night' and it had been a weeks since then while it was also said there was about a week left for the fight. There was a lot of other instances as well which makes me think maybe there was a typo and it was meant to be 2 months before the fight, not 2 weeks. Either way as written the book takes place in about a 2 weeks time period and goes very fast relationship progression wise where I didn't really get to feel a connection between the two as we got to the climax and then instant ending. The epilogue did take us to 1 year later where it was again confusing time wise because "toddler babbling" was mentioned when the baby would be a maximum of 5 months old. I know this was a lot of complaining about a little detail but these little details really pulled me out of the book as I was going back to reread and see if I missed something, overall though this was an enjoyable fast read.
