For dinosaur lovers or reluctant readers, this series is a great addition to any collection. Done in a graphic novel style theme, the reader will learn the daily life of that individual dinosaur. Interesting facts, fun graphics, and easy-to-understand writing style makes this series a winner for junior non-fiction collections.

I liked the facts at the beginning of the book to give the reader some background. The illustrations are bright. I didn't like how many big words were used or that sometimes I felt we were following other dinosaurs instead of the allosaurus. It is a bit bloody/violent, really focusing on the death scenes.
