If you admire Abraham Lincoln, this guide will take you to the places he lived and worked, laughed and loved, and wept. Follow in Lincoln's footsteps to the log cabin where he was born, to the Indiana frontier where he grew to manhood, to the places where he built his career in law and rose to become sixteenth President of the United States. The book features more than 25 sites, including a fascinating summary of historical events that took place at each site and a detailed description of the site as it is today. This is the ultimate guide for travelers seeking a greater appreciation for the lands of Lincoln.
Most of the information about the visitor information is now incorrect and outdated. Of course, the historical information is still really valuable and provides information I haven't found in other Lincoln books. Would love to see an updated version of this book.
