Prince Barrak of Terra is sent to negotiate for peace with the Zytellians, an aggressive, matriarchal species which has conquered much of the known galaxy. Tiryl, the leader of the Zytellians, refuses to negotiate with a male, and she makes Barrak her prisoner instead. She intends to teach him his proper place in her society—as a subordinate whose only purpose is to please women. She uses every method at her disposal to "retrain" him. Unable to resist her, Barrak finds himself in chains...and in her bed. But when Barrak frees himself, he turns the tables and makes Tiryl his prisoner...and teaches her a lesson that she won't soon forget.

The scenes were erotic, it's a good 3 star read but not a four in my opinion. I felt like I was reading an erotic episode from Star Trek, and this would appeal to those who enjoy science fiction and erotica. Alien but humanoid species from planet Zytellia, where women are dominant, has their leader Tyril lead a raid on another ship and race. These women are used to being in control and control men using pheromones and venom from fangs, into subservient sex pets. The other humanoid species from Terra which in my mind reflected Earth's natural World, leads Prince Barrat into his captured and imprisoned sexual experiences. He doesn't want to succumb into sexual slavery and is used to ruling equally with women; he's horrified by the Zytellians treatment of men. Tyril is determined to use all her Domme tactics to change him into her new sex pet. There's reasonable development of the main characters but there are times there actions, speech and behaviour is a little stilted and not as natural as could be. Yet Meg Harris writes some very erotic sex scenes and has the potential to be a good writer in this genre. There are elements of BDSM in Dominant/submission or the fight by either not to submit. Some bondage as in keeping a prisoner controlled and tied for titillation and sexual acts. The book has a decent standard of English language and has been edited. I was fortunate enough to have this as a free read. It is an author I would consider reading more of her work, one to watch.

Well...lots of bondage sex that would be more interesting without the attempt of a plot and a couple wet wipes. I like a good Slip N' Slide frolic, but the sex was so juicy that it should come with a towel. Add in the oversimplified hierarchical shift in this space empire conflict that made me feel like I lost twenty IQ points just reading it and it resulted in a very "Meh" to God-please-let-this-end experience.
