For someone who is technically inclined like myself, this books' step-by-step instructions on how to write a grant proposal got me an A inthe class and this fall I'm interning for the Professor who taught it. after using this book as a text book, I would definitely consider Grant Writing as a full time job in the future. If you are not a book learner, then this book won't be much help to you until you get to the grant proposal examples at the end of each chapter.

I read most of these chapters two-three times to get through my UCF Proposal Writing Class. Excellent textbook with highly relevant content, easy-to-understand examples, and clear explanations. I will refer to this text many times in the years to come.

The best part of this book is the example proposals. They served as a good reference for the grants I was working on. The book was well organized by topic and very detailed.
