What's not to like about this book...hot vampires, shifter hunks, and gorgeous angels...yum...yum...
This book is fast paced, intense, sexy as hell, and action pack.
I really enjoyed this world and how well the author navigated through it.
I'm going to read the next book in the series...Night Light...
Great read...not for the faint of heart.
Highly recommend!!

Moon Dance is a wonderful paranormal story with vampires, two shape shifters of the cougar and jaguars families, and angelic beings. A delightful mix of fantasy and romance along with betrayal and revenge in an action full package. Cleverly original and great storyline, I anxiously await the next in the series .

I have had the good fortune of been given some good books to review lately and this is yet an example of another one. Amy writes right to the heart. She involves you in her characters and storyline early on and she doesn't let go. Revenge, betrayal, new love stories and friendships that test boundaries are all contained within these pages.

Vampires, shape-shifters of cougars, jaguars and fallen angels, you name it this book has it. She has hit the mark of the paranormal! She has many story lines going on all at once, and sometimes confused me, but yet after reading more into the book, they do all flow together eventually.

The sex scenes are hot, but not on the erotica side, but still very well written. This is a genuine paranormal fantasy romance that must be read.

This is book one of many and I for one look forward to more from this story as well as other books from the collaboration of Ms. Blankenship & R.K. Melton

Book two is "Night Light" now available at Amazon. I suggest you read both of them, its money well spent and worth the read.

Well done!

In a world where many things go bump in the night, sometimes it's hard to tell who is on the good side, and who is pure evil....Enter Amy Blankenship's paranormal world, where vampires are not just fictional characters in cheap horror movies and shifters roam the land. Moon Dance, the first novel in her Blood Bound series, gives us a brief taste of the paranormal, while showing a promise for many future thrills and horrors to be found. Within the pages of this book lies a very complex storyline; at times, you must read carefully to be sure that you do not get confused with the various characters and their intentions.

Many of the problems that arise in this book are due to an event that happened over 30 years before the beginning of the story. There are two shifter clans in the area--the cougars and the jaguars. For many years, they lived in peace and friendship as the leaders of both were best friends. Or so it seemed... But when the mate of the jaguar leader is found murdered, Kane, a vampire and trusted friend of both of these men, is framed for her death, as he is lying on top of her body. Furious, Malachi seeks revenge and with the help of Nathaniel binds Kane to the earth, burying him alive and locking his powers away. Only the blood of his soul mate can release him, and Kane, though having lived for centuries, has never found her.

Nearly twenty years after this, Malachi finds out the truth--that his mate was not killed by Kane, but rather by his friend, and the leader of the cougars, Nathaniel, who then framed it on Kane. They head into the woods, to the very spot where Kane is still locked deep in the earth, to settle this once and for all. In the shifter's world, that means a fight to the death. During their fight, a young girl who was camping in the area stumbles upon them after running after her puppy. In the rumble, Tabatha is injured. Her blood seeps into the soil...and begins to awaken Kane. His soul mate has finally come! Unfortunately, it is days before Kane is strong enough to dig himself out of the grave, and by then Malachi and Nathaniel have since killed one another and the girl long gone.

Upset by the loss of his mate, Kane seeks revenge on both of the shifter groups, as he does not know that he was framed all those years ago, instead thinking that he was simply betrayed by both for no reason. Sending his newly made vampires out to do the work, a string of hideous murders soon follow as he attempts to frame the shifters for them.

While Kane wrecks havoc on the city, specifically the two shifters' nightclubs, Envy, our heroine for this story, walks into the jaguar's nightclub with the intention of seeking her own revenge on an ex-boyfriend who is enjoying a night on the town (or so it seems). She never expected that she would end up spotting a sexy, very dominant man, while there... nor did she dream that she would have a one-night stand with him! Devon, one of the sons of Malachi and part owner of the nightclub, is attracted to Envy from the start...but it isn't until he takes her that night that he realizes what he has done: claimed his mate. Clueless to the paranormal world that she's stepped into, Envy leaves during the night, not knowing that this was not a one-night stand like she thinks, but rather the beginning of a very permanent relationship.

Two shifters families has been friends for a long time, until Malachi finds out that his business partner and friend Nathaniel killed his mate 30 years ago and not his vampire friend Kane, who he bound to the ground. Malachi is determined to set Kane free and he knows he has to fight Nathaniel to the death. But only the blood of a true mate can set Kane free from his earth prison. Then this young girl stumbles into the fight between the two shifters and a little of her blood seeps into the soil and awakens Kane. Kane doesn’t know about Nathaniel betrayal and Malachi’s plan to set him free and he is determined to let both families pay for his imprison.

Ten years later Kane is back in the City where he will set his plans in motion to get his revenge on the children of Malachi and Nathaniel. Dead bodies are turning up at the two shifters nightclubs and they are blaming each other.

Moon Dance by Amy Blankenship & R.K. Melton is the first novel in the Blood Bound Series and I liked it. Although I have to say that I found it very confusing sometimes that this story is written from so many point of views. Normally you’ll see only the hero and heroine’s point of view, but in this book the entire family and of course Kane are having their turns too.

But that doesn’t mean I didn’t like the book, the story has everything that I like to read, passion, jealousy, danger, love and determination. The family bond between the siblings from both families is strong and so recognizable.

In this novel the real hero and heroine are Devon, one of Malachi’s sons and Envy, a human bartender. Envy walks into the jaguar’s nightclub with one thing on her mind, revenge. She just discovered that her boyfriend is there with two other girls, so she dumps him and have fun in the club too. She is immediately drawn to gorgeous Devon, whose part owner of the club.

The chemistry between them is tremendous and Devon finds himself thinking of her as his mate and after one hell of a night together, that is exactly what he has done, claimed his mate. Now he has to explain everything to her and hopefully she will accept him the way he is.

Beside the confusion of all the different point of views, there was another small thing that I had a hard time to believe. This whole book, beside the first chapter about the two fathers, take place in only 48 hours. To me that is way too fast to trust and accept this mating-shifter thing, but for some reason it fit into the series.

I know I have to get and read the following novels too, because I really want to know what will happen next with the other siblings and of course Kane; although he starts as a bad guy, there is hope for him, because he true mate is out there.

Moon Dance (Blood Bound Series) by Amy Blankenship is an awesome book that I couldn't put down. Warning: Very Addictive!
With many characters that develop great personalities quickly I found myself totally enthralled in this world of nightclubs with shape shifters, vampires and some humans.

Immediately I was captivated from the very first page. There is a lot going on, I like this in a book and the author does a wonderful job in leading the reader through all of the intertwining characters and their lives. There are many Love/Hate relationships going on. I have my own favorites and you will too. Devon and Envy, very hot and steamy first encounter. Tastefully done and very enjoyable. There's really too many characters to name here but I feel invested in each one.

The werecougars and the werejaguars are the heart of the story along with the vampires and I can't wait to see how it all unfolds and where Amy Blankenship will lead the reader next. I know it will be exciting with all of the twists and turns and surprises that the author creates for the readers.

I received this e-copy for an honest review and I highly recommend this book, Moon Dance and I can't wait to get started on the next one Night Light!

Fallen Angels, Vampires and Shifters.... oh my!

Moon Dance is a paranormal wonderland, that is not to be missed. Creatures of the night and of the heavens roam the pages of this story. A delightful read with dark seductive scenes that suck you in. This story is filled with betrayal, revenge, finding new life and love. An addicting read, I had a hard time putting it down. One of the things I loved about this book was that there were several different story lines going on, but that they were all connected in one way or another. I have read previous stories by Blankenship & Melton but this latest one is by far my favorite.

Moon Dance is the first in the Blood Bound series.

it wasn't bad...i had high hopes. a little concerned that the author thinks a g-spot & a clit are the same thing. but other than that it wasn't bad. A few too many characters introduced at once in the very beginning made it a bit confusing at first but it fell into a decent rhythm by mid book. I liked Envy's character...and it did leave me wondering what happens next.

This book is a good start to the series. I love Envy's work with the taser. If you can get past the yelling narrator this is a good book and series.

Malesef kitaba iki yıldız bırakıyorum. Kitabı sevemedim. Kitabın çevirisinde o kadar çok hata vardı ki, canımı çok sıktı.

The book itself was decent. I would have given three stars (because I did like the story idea and the flow of the book), but there were quite a few grammatical errors that dropped it down to two stars. Regardless, I like the story enough to say that I will be reading the second in the series.

Sexist throughout and I didn't like how Devon is aware of Envy’s fear and just ignores it. It felt like a jumpy plot, we’d swap point of view half was through a paragraph. The characters were all introduced really quick and there were quite a lot of them so it was kind of confusing at times.

I love these Books, but the Dutch translation is terrible. Even Google translate would have done a better job and it sucks in translating to Dutch 😅. I would fire the person who translated the Books to Dutch.. Cause I think he was drunk or failed Dutch classes 😂
