Not only does this book have gorgeous drawings of the animals and flora in the Grand Canyon, it gives a great geological history of the canyon. In addition is had good information on the climate and the plateau that the canyon sits in. It is not dry and boring, and despite how packed of information it is, it isn't a huge book to lug around.
