This book made our recent trip to Kauai amazing. Other people were asking us for advice on where to go, what to do, and where to eat. We had a great trip made even better with a little planning with this book.
We loved the Blossoming Lotus that was recommended in the book. If we hadn't read about it, we might not have found the best vegetarian restraurant on the island. We also found a little known waterfall that was so off the beaten path that we thought we were lost until we walked out of the tall grass to a perfect peaceful waterfall that we went swimming and spent the morning enjoying the best of Kauai.

The copy this reviewer read was much more recent than this one at 2007 but this option can be found in Google Books and seems to match the 2018 version relatively closely on pertinent information. Obviously, the suggestions for eating and shopping vary, but the nuts and bolts are a close match.
An issue with this book is that the layout of the sites is not geographically logical per area. It could be more helpful for an editor to place the towns in order of when they would be encountered on a drive as other guidebooks have done.

I found this book very helpful. Brought it on every expedition. What a gorgeous island!
