This book offers mentoring advice to those who may not have access to high level business mentors. There is some good advice from the author as well as many other high level women business executives. The author talks about taking time to reflect through prayer or meditation that some might find off-putting. I think her intention is to tell you that you need to find a place of stillness and be in the moment so you can determine and stay on target for your goals.
It's a useful book for those seeking to be mentored as well as those who want to mentor others.
I enjoyed the personal accounts shared by the main author and guest contributors. This provided a better perspective on they handle challenging situations in their pursuit of work-life balance and obtaining and maintaining successful careers.
