She studied zoology and geology at Bristol University, and has subsequently written or edited more than 200 books for children and adults, many of which aim to explain and explore the natural world and our relationship with it.

I enjoyed this book as I enjoy learning quick facts sometimes. This book presents facts alongside colorful illustrations and extra captions along with some quick quizzes. I like to put books like this in my classroom library for my students to read.
