Didi Menendez wears many hats: artist of portraits, writer of poetry, curator, friend to poets and artists and writers, and publisher. She has developed some of the finest art publications available, such as MIPOesis, Poets and Artists (O&S), and chapbooks and other publications that her tasteful insight encourages her to put before the public.
This publication was assembled by Grace Cavalieri and April Carter Grant and consists of contributions in poetry, short story, painting, and reviewing from many of the artists she continues to challenge to bring their best work to her plate. It is a fine combination of works that honor Didi Menendez, works that she inspired in one way or another. To discover the many aspects of Didi's contributions to the art world, read this tender publication. She sets a high standard!
April (SHOWERS OF FLOWERS) did this with her magic hands. I only herded the poets. But what a pleasure to see the feelings manifested that had been perhaps unsaid before about one of the truly most incerdible human beings in the art world: DIDI MENENDEZ.
