The Boys Of Fell #6

Tommy and the Magi

Rate this book
Christmas is coming, and Tommy is trapped! Aspiring costume designer Tommy longs for his stern owner to truly claim him, and he submits to everything Dr. Tanaka wants. Everything, that is, except communicating openly with Tanaka-sama. Tommy trusts and obeys Dr. Tanaka, so why can’t he take the final step of confiding his worries to the man who wants to protect him?

Tommy’s career is stalled, and his work nemesis, Susie Sofronie, is bullying him into cutting off his long black braid for charity during the Christmas matinee. Dr. Tanaka treasures Tommy’s hair both for its bondage use and as a symbol of their shared Japanese heritage. Tangled up in a knot of failed communication and obligations, will Tommy end up bald and without his man on Christmas Day?

I'm a writer of queer erotica -- mostly m/m and D/s.
I live with Beloved Joe and the evil kitten clan.

I fled Thatcher’s England in the late 1980ies, and have lived in the American Midwest since then. Frying pan and fire come to mind. Back in the UK, I ran a record store (ah vinyl!). Since coming to America, I've taught college, edited at a small publishing house, researched and written background reports, and been a professional thank you letter writer.

Short story - spin off from the Dr Fell series. Meet some of our favorite characters again.

To my mind BDSM, with its concerns about rules and status, can become a substitute for real intimacy, more affection than love. Any convenient sub or dom will do. (Running the risk of a flogging or whipping here!)

Thought this also of What Worse Place Can I Beg in Your Love? (Is this the winner of the best title of the year category?) If you can't laugh together...

(Note - Above comments not applicable to the Dr Fell series where constant grief for a lost love was such a driving force. Gave this series 4 stars.)
