The Watch Tower Bible and Tract Society of Pennsylvania is a nonprofit corporation formed in 1884 under the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, U.S.A. It is used by Jehovah’s Witnesses to support their worldwide work, which includes publishing Bibles and Bible-based literature.

According to its charter, the corporation’s purposes are “religious, educational, and charitable,” in particular, to “preach and teach the gospel of God’s Kingdom under Christ Jesus.” Membership in the corporation is by invitation only and is not based on how much a person has donated. The corporation members and directors assist the Governing Body of Jehovah’s Witnesses.

At the 2007 “Follow the Christ!” District Conventions we were greatly moved by the release of this publication, and i went right to reading it.
Jesus’ exemplary life teaches us what kind of person we should be. His sacrificial death can free us from sin and its wages, death. (Romans 6:23) How sad our situation would be without the powerful influence of Jesus Christ! We should never allow the preoccupations and anxieties of life to rob us of the opportunity to consider and follow closely the example of the greatest man who ever lived—Jesus Christ.
When we live our lives in a way where we imitate Jesus in the choices that we make, our lives are so much happier. I am glad that I found this study aid to read with my Bible.

Just posted this on an online blog, figured it was good for this Group. Especially for those questioning the JW Faith.

PLEASE READ THIS COMMENT!!!

FIRST AND FOREMOST, I LOVE JWS!!!!

Anyone can read the Gospels to find out what Jesus taught and came here to do. God displays himself wonderfully through his word the Bible from Genesis all the way to the Book of Revelations.. 2 Tim 3:15,16,17 is what true believers and those wanting to learn about God need to focus On. In verse 17 God lets us know that Salvation through Faith is gained by The Lord Jesus Christ only. He (Jesus) is the Way the Truth and the Life (John 14:6).

(JW Bible, RNWT) Ecclesiastes 12:12 As for anything besides these, my son, be warned: To the making of many books there is no end, and much devotion to them is wearisome to the flesh.
(JW's are devoted to their WT magazines and various other Publications.

"Do not let your heart be troubled; believe in God, believe also in Me. (John 14:1 NASB)

Many JW's want to leave the Organization, but they do not know where to go, sadly they are more focused on Publications from the Governing Body (JW Popes) rather then Jesus Christ. When Jesus was leaving to go back to heaven after his bodily resurrection (1 Tim 2:5), the Apostles didn't ask him "WHERE ARE WE TO GO". But instead they said;
Simon Peter answered Him, "Lord, to whom shall we go? You have words of eternal life. (John 6:68 NASB)
(To whom shall we GO) Jesus Christ that's who!

If you want to know what the Bible really teaches then open up the Bible and read it. Of course within context. JW's will say that they have Bible Studies, but like Mormons they must work for their Salvation. Baptized JW's must put in at least 5 hours a month in the ministry work in which they must track down their time and the info of the householders name that they are calling on.

JW's like Mormons are really nice people and they have a love for God but they are all about works. Meaning one is saved by their works, which is not Biblical.

They also do not believe that they are born again other then the 144,000 (heaven bound) JW Anointed (only they are anointed, but what does the Bible teach?). They also preach a different Gospel then what the Bible teaches (1 Corinthians 15:1-4).

Questions to ask them:
Are you Saved?
Do JW's have a guaranteed Salvation?
Is Jesus an angel according to Hebrew 1:6?

Jesus answered and said to him, "Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God." (John 3:3 NASB)

Therefore there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. (Romans 8:1 NASB)
(If you are not in Christ then you are Condemned) (only the JW 144,000 claim of being "in Christ" or in "Union with Christ Jesus".

Whoever believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God, and whoever loves the Father loves the child born of Him. (1 John 5:1 NASB)
(If you believe that Jesus is the Christ is Born of God "BORN AGAIN")

But He answered them, "My Father is working until now, and I Myself am working." For this reason therefore the Jews were seeking all the more to kill Him, because He not only was breaking the Sabbath, but also was calling God His own Father, making Himself equal with God. (John 5:17, 18 NASB)
(Angels are not equal with the Father, but the Son is)

For not even the Father judges anyone, but He has given all judgment to the Son, so that all will honor the Son even as they honor the Father. He who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent Him. (John 5:22, 23 NASB)
(You must Honor the Son the same exact way that you are to Honor the Father)

Amen! I love you all! May God Bless and love you All!

Reading this wonderful little book taught me more about Jesus than I ever realized possible to know. It takes us into the Bible and reasons on the way Jesus lived his life as a human. It shows us how we can follow his example and live a happy meaningful life. Please read this one. Again, this can be downloaded free from JW.ORG.

This book is one of my favorites! This book highlights and discusses the amazing qualities Jesus showed in imitation of his father Jehovah, and how we can imitate them both. If we really study Jesus life, qualities, focus and demeanor we can truly begin to imitate the Grand Creator as he did.
I literally leave it by my bedside so I can read it over and over again.
