Honey Hyman (do NOT call her "hon") is all leather, piercings, and tattoos. And yes, she may be just a tad deal-obsessed, but who isn't? It’s not like her using coupons is stealing from anyone... unless, of course, those coupons are the fakes she created to help her elderly neighbors afford groceries from the Munch & Crunch, the uber-expensive supermarket that's replaced their local grocery store.
It really isn't fair for her to go to jail. Or to be blackmailed into working for the Munch & Crunch CEO whom she's supposedly defrauded—a CEO who turns out to be none other than Gunther Ferguson, her high school crush who once ruined both her school record and her life.
I love writing humor (often the inappropriate kind), happy endings (both kinds), and characters quirky enough to be called oddballs (because... balls). If you love your romance heavy on the comedy and feel-good vibes, visit mishabell.com and sign up for my newsletter.
Honey and Gunther's story was so cute! I loved their daily interactions and Gunther was just so cute with how in to Honey he was. I love a protective hero and the way he handled the mishap in the gym and then his concern for her getting enough to eat. It was just so cute!
Honey's parents are still cringe worthy funny. They appear in all the previous sisters books, and they never fail to entertain. I love how none of the sisters escape the embarrassing parent moments when they meet their boyfriends. I get embarrassed for them, but also can't help but laugh every time.
I really enjoyed this one and might be my new favorite of all the sisters.
Picked it up for the cute cover, stuck around for the zaney enemies to lovers steamy slow burn. Lots of office pranks, really quirky FMC with tattoos, a big family and some crazy cats. This was different and a quick read, good on audio narrated by heavy hitters, Erin Mallon and Joe Arden. Despite the great narration, this was just a like not a love for me and I won't be rushing to read any of the other books in the series. It does work as a standalone though and is a fun read if you want a light-hearted laugh with a bit of spice.
I am in love with this Hymen family and Honey and Gunther’s story was laugh out loud hilarious with multiple happy endings. The Love Deal was filled with pranks and misunderstandings, lust and passion and so many innuendos that it made me chuckle and snicker. Misha Bell writes fun and entertaining stories with these characters and I look forward to reading more about them.
The one upmanship between these two was hilarious, keeping me turning the pages to see who was going to do what next. They gave me quite a few unique ideas when it comes to a prank war. There was no denying that they both felt a hot flush of desire throughout their battle.
While we didn’t get Gunther’s point of view or really know for sure what he was thinking or feeling, Honey never kept us guessing. She was such a fun heroine with her constant need for a better bargain and her abhorrence at the thought of blood, much less the sight of it. I loved everything about her, including Bunny, her cat that quite possibly could be a serial killer.
This is a fun, fast read. It kept me engaged from the first page and I literally could not put it down until the end. It’s light on the drama, heavy on the rom-com, and perfect with all its steamy, too hot to touch, goodness. Add in all the wickedly absurd family members and this is the perfect book to sit back and chill with.

I got suckered into this book by the cover, but I honestly should have dropped it as soon as I read the characters names: Honey Hyman and Gunther. That really should have told me the type of humor that should be expected throughout the book, but it was actually worse. It read like the humor of a middle school boy. I get it might be some people's thing, but I was just cringing the whole time. Also, the plot was them working out and eating lunch.. I was hoping for more. Even the whole initial plot of her neighbors being priced out of shopping at the munch and crunch was just dropped? Lol 💀 Anyway, it was a fast read but definitely not something I would want to pick back up.
WHAT'S GOING ON?".
If you are looking for a sweet, charming, funny and seductive RomCom, try this one out. Misha Bell captivates you once again with another quirky story of the Hyman Sisters. This time it is Honey’s turn to find love. Honey is not as quirky as the other Hyman sisters, she is obsessed with coupons, always loves a good deal and is afraid of blood. She is considered the rebel from the bunch. When Gunther blackmails her into working for him, she reluctantly accepts in order to escape jail. However, she and Gunther slowly go from pranking each other to falling for each other. This book is narrated by the incredible one woman show Erin Mallon with a special epilogue narration by Joe Arden. Erin Mallon does a fabulous job bringing Honey and Gunther to life. She perfectly captures Honey’s witty banter and charm. Her male voice as Gunther was swoony and made you fall for him fast. He was definitely what you thought he was. I definitely enjoyed this latest installment of the Hyman Sisters and I can’t wait to read more.
Another great story from Misha Bell duo. This time we meet another Hyman sister - Honey (and don’t call her Hon) and her road to happy ending (or two, or three, well… who is counting …) with hear bau Gunther. As always laughing out loud hilarious. Shenanigans between Honey and Gunther will have you in stitches. We will see couples we’ve met previously make an appearance (nothing brings family to like a wedding!) and yes, embarrassing mom and dad will make you cringe again, but also once again you will have a good dose of laugh with/at them! I must say it may be my personal favourite of the whole series so far.
I am a huge Misha Bell fan and I LOVE her Hyman Sister series…usually. I was very excited to read Honey’s story but something in it was missing. She seems pretty bitter about her name and the thing in high school.(No spoilers) I love all the Hyman sister’s names and thought Honey was gonna have a great story but it was just sort of blah. It’s still a good book just my least favorite so far of any Misha Bell book.

Cute enough, funny enough, minimal but excellent sex scenes. This book was not as good as the first two books from this world (Fanny and Bella’s), but definitely way better than the third book (Holly’s). It’s a cute light fun read with some LOL moments. It’s biggest weaknesses is that nothing really happens, but it’s a short book so it works out.
It's a good book, but her inability to hold herself accountable for HER mistakes was a major turn-off for me. She literally blamed him for a choice she made even though he was decent enough not to ruin her life.
The writing featured too many quips and puns and unnecessary jokes, to the point of distracting from the plot. The plot lines were all a bit silly for my tastes, even for a romcom.
Honey one of the Hyman sextuplets has tons of tattoos and piercings but is deathly afraid of the sight of blood. She also loves a good deal and has gotten in trouble with the law for forging coupons for Munch and Crunch the major chain store that bought out her old ma and pa grocery store. She does this so that her elderly neighbors may afford their groceries. When she is caught the CEO who happens to be the man she believes ruined her life in high school, Gunther. He forces her to work for him to keep her out of legal troubles and she takes the deal. She works with his team to ensure that no other person can forge munch and crunch coupons and prevent what happened from happening again. During her time working for Gunther they at first start a prank war with each other and then start working out together and sharing lunches with one another. At a retirement party for Gunther's dad they get drunk and have sex. They have feelings for each other but must fill out HR paperwork before they can go public. During that time they torture one another with skimpy outfits and workout attire. They are finally able to go public the same time that Honey's sister Gia is getting married and they get a hotel room and share a sober passionate night together. The next day Gunther is told that Honey stole coupons from his corporate warehouse and he doesn't believe it but is then given damning evidence. Despite everything he wants to give her the benefit of the doubt and when she over reacts and thinks he's accusing her she runs out on him ending things and quitting her job. When they discover the real culprit Honey understands that she overreacted and has to face a blood bank so that she can make things right with him. I loved Honey and Gunther together. Their banter and prank war was great and I loved that Gunther always made sure she worked out safely and ate lunch by spending time with her. I think that Gunther even in high scho0l had feelings for Honey and I was happy when it turned out to be someone else that ruined her life and not Gunther. Their chemistry with one another was through the roof and I was really happy things worked out for them at the end.

The Love Deal By: Misha Bell Narrated by: Erin Mallon, Joe Arden
Get ready to laugh with those hysterical Hyman octuplets! Honey is our focus this time, and she is a spitfire. Ready to do her best to help others, she gets caught creating fake coupons for an upscale supermarket. Is she ready to pay the price when she gets caught? Gunther, her arch nemesis from high school calls her bluff and ends up hiring her to work off the lost money. He hurt her badly, and now the two are working closely together. Chemistry between them keeps things popping! That's for sure! But is it enough to forgive the man? I was laughing from the very start with this one! It's so great getting to know each of the girls, and I absolutely love Honey's kind spirit. Gunther proves his worth too, and I love it! From a magical wedding to fun at the office party, this is a blast! And don't forget to include all the family! Honey's parents never cease to make me smile as well as the comfortable feeling I get as we get glimpses of the other couples we have gotten to know. Another hilarious, fun and spicy story! Keep them coming!
Erin Mallon is so good at this family, no one could do it the justice it deserves as good as she can. Comedic timing, the inner voices, the fabulous personalities she creates all result in a listen that put me in a good mood and kept me happy. Finish it off with Joe Arden giving the epilogue in his wonderful take on Gunther and it's pure magic.
Honey and her clutch mates are at it again in the hilarious RomCom serial The Love Deal.
Honey is misunderstood… very misunderstood, because beneath that hardened exterior is a softy with a phobia of seeing blood due to the chicken murder incident that has left most of the Hyman sisters in severe trauma. What’s worse than that? Miss bad girl Honey just happens to be a thief, but not just any thief, she is a coupon clipping, master making, senior citizen supporting thief that helps dear old grannies steal from the mega corporate shopping marts! Yup, Honey makes coupons to steal from the rich and give to the elderly. It doesn’t hurt that she is robbing from her long time high school crush - turned enemy Mr Munch and Crunch himself Gunther Ferguson.
Is Gunther ready to throw the book at Honey wants and for all? Is her high school female rival in the thick of it to rub salt to the wound? Honey has asked into something that will alter her life forever, but is she ready for what’s in store?
Honey’s quirks had me LOLing through the entire read. As for Gunther, he is down right swoony/ swoon worthy/ swave extraordinaire. He knows what he wants, and like his bees, he can’t wait to tap into that Honey.
I am loving these Hyman sisters and the hi jinx they get involved in. This story focuses on Honey, and make sure to use her name and not some other form. From the beginning, one cannot help but start to fall for this Hyman sister and her tunnel vision when it comes to coupons and sales, which put her in some hot water. Gunther is Honey’s opposite. He is strict and on top of everything, especially when it comes to running his company. When things start to go awry with his company’s coupons, he brings in the expert, Honey. These two are like oil and water, which makes for some fun when they get into a game of one-upmanship. However, the more time they spend together they begin to realize they complement each other and begin building a friendship. Overall, this is one storyline that will have you laughing as the witty banter between them keeps the pages turning along with some precious felines and the rest of the Hyman family making appearances, that make this one book to curl up with in one’s favorite reading spot to devour.

This book was such a funny read. I loved how you could devour it in one sitting, and the flirty banter between Gunther and Honey was absolutely hilarious. 🤭
There’s a bit of miscommunication, but it’s not so heavy that it detracts from the story. I really liked the characters, especially Honey with her piercings and tattoos, and how she is the complete opposite of Gunther.
Even though it was wrong, I understood her reason for committing fraud by changing the discount amount on coupons. To be fair, it’s one of the reasons she and Gunther meet again.
Their prank wars and the undeniable attraction they tried to resist had me smiling the whole time. 💕
Although this was a fun read, I think it could’ve been more developed. Their relationship felt a bit rushed, and I would have loved to see more of their connection unfold. 🫶🏻
Hyman Honeyed! Joint authors Misha Bell deliver everything promised in their ‘About the Author’ blurb; “humour, quirky and romance heavy comedy and feel-good vibes”. This book is about another one of the Hyman sextuplets, Honey, and her once teenage crush, Gunther Ferguson. Honey loves freebies and deals and has been known to fiddle coupons. Coupons that start their journey, with Honey working under [intended] Gunther. Pranks, feline and bloody episodes abound with cringeworthy embarrassment, deliciously provided by the parents. Very few books make me laugh out loud and each book in this series guarantees many, many funny moments. As always, my favourite part is the animal conversations and Bunny delivers. Spectacularly! Beautifully written and edited, this is another winner by Misha Bell.
The Love Deal is an excellent book which once again features one of the identical Hyman sextuplets. This book is focused on Honey Hyman, who is a sympathetic individual who altered grocery store coupons for those in need while in high school, and Gunther Ferguson, who she believed tattled about the illegal coupons to his father who owned the store where they were used. Years later Honey and Gunther meet again when she once again alters coupons for her neighbors and he blackmails her into working for him at the Crunch and Munch grocery chain which he owns. Their story is filled with witty banter, fun office pranks, an all out hilarious feud, a workplace nemesis, misunderstandings, and steamy attraction. I highly recommend this superb book which will have you laughing out loud!.

Honey definitely has a heart of gold. After helping an elderly neighbor couple by counterfeiting coupons so they could go shopping at the large nearby Munch & Crunch market, she is arrested. At the police station, she receives the sad news that the owner of the market is none other than an old school friend, Gunther Ferguson.
Honey and Gunther had a not very good history in the past. Because of him, she had her records preventing her from attending college. Now, she was standing in front of him being (blackmailed?) convinced to work for him by testing coupons for his store.
This commercial coexistence can lead to something more... If someone in common with Honey and Gunther doesn't get in the way...
Yet another hilarious story involving the Hyman sisters - and the phobias each of them has - right up to a royal wedding. 5 stars
Honey and Gunther get their story. This one takes place after several of the others in the interconnected series. You will run into old characters you have already met. Both from the sextuplet (septuplet?? idk) and the hard series.
Honey is a fairly unique character. She has attitude and spunk. She is one of 7 identical siblings, and almost last as to getting her romance. She is blackmailed into working for Gunther at his company and the two go toe to toe for most of the book. They are both fairly attracted to each other, but fight it.
This was not a laugh out loud one for me, but it was still a very cute, funny story. The writing duo that make up Misha Bell are very good at writing gems. I enjoy these books a lot.
This book had me cracking up! It was a tad immature, but I was down for it. There are a lot of weird names, but if you use google. These can actually be found as real people. So those who rate books low because of characters' names..... You're the problem.
I loved Gunther. He has secretly crushed on Honey since high school. The same goes with Honey. Though, Honey loves to jump to conclusions, so she made Gunther her enemy when things went down.
I did enjoy the banter between these two and between Honey and her sisters. It was all in good fun. The prank war was amusing.
It could have used a bit more emotions and chemistry between the two, but again, I was happy with the story enough to not be too upset with it.
While I have loved other books by this husband and wife writing team, this one missed the mark by a mile, and in many ways: the opening line makes. fun. of. incest. YIKES! There’s also the bizarre anti-spay/neuter position, casually dropped a page or so later. And the character names are beyond terrible: sextuplets with the surname Hyman (like a virgin’s hymen, because why???) and equally dreadful first names. The FMC is spared prosecution for fraud via couponing (AKA theft), yet turns up surly and insubordinate during orientation at her diversion program with the MMC… it’s just a hot mess.
Very low stress read. The sextuplets are very funny and their family is in this story too. Honey has a past and Gunther was part of it. They meet again because she gets caught counterfeiting coupons for his store. He is interested in her but she doesn’t believe it. It’s a cute romance with a predictable villain and crime but it’s still fun to read. The more I read these books about the Hyman family the more I enjoy them. I might actually read them again. Also the characters from the hard wire books were present and fun to read. This may also be my favorite sister book.
This is obviously a rom-com, but its a comedy to the point of it being set in a realm that feels removed from reality. Her name is Honey Hyman, what is she- a bond girl. This doesn't feel like opposites attract, they're more like stereotypes rather than well thought out characters. I feel like a spoilsport because its meant to be light hearted but I just wasn't into it. I'm also not a fan of books that say they're standalone but repeatedly bring in characters from other books by the author, to me that means it isn't a standalone. To end on a positive note- I did find the office pranks funny.
